I talk about Dhillon Booker Dhillon Booker 6'1" | 210 lbs | EDGE/ATH Franklin Road Academy | 2029 TN frequently. However, he is one of the 2029 prospects that you cannot exclude in these kinds of articles. I first found out about him nearly a year ago at an NPA workout, and I was sold from there. He’s an incredibly athletic player but is much more than just that.

He’s a well-built defensive player, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 215 pounds. Booker has a long frame, but plenty of power behind his pads. The fluidity and athleticism for this dude is off the charts, which is what catches my eye initially. Still, he’s an aggressive ball player with tremendous upside.

Booker is extremely fast off the ball, is twitchy, possesses strong bend off the edge, has a nice bag of pass-rush moves and doesn’t quit until the play is finished. He also sets the edge well and can be a very good run stuffer. I’d like to see him tweak a few things, but I see Power Four upside at his best.

Dhillon Booker Dhillon Booker 6'1" | 210 lbs | EDGE/ATH Franklin Road Academy | 2029 TN is one of the elite in-state defensive prospects. As a true freshman last season, he was highly productive. The sophomore had a good offseason and looks to have taken that next step.

He’s a lean, athletic defensive end, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 215 pounds. I would like to see him gain more weight, but Booker is building his body the correct way, which will pay off down the line.

The sophomore is extremely athletic, is technically sound on the defensive line, uses his hands well, offers elite pass-rush upside, plays with a high motor and has strong instincts.

Dhillon Booker Dhillon Booker 6'1" | 210 lbs | EDGE/ATH Franklin Road Academy | 2029 TN is an exciting young defensive end prospect that showed flashes while rotating in as a high school freshman for a state title contender with strong trenches.

He has solid length at 6-foot-1 and a strong frame to continue adding weight on to, which he has already began to do this offseason after playing at around 220 pounds this year.

He rotated in this year behind a future Division One player and showed why one of the best coaching staffs in the state of Tennessee believed him despite his youth.

He has a strong frame with long arms and active hands, which allowed him to get in the backfield at an intriguing rate with the pursuit ability to chase down ball carriers.

As he keeps getting taller and bigger, he will continue to develop into a standout defensive line prospect and could build on the momentum he established in the back half of his freshman season.

Have I mentioned the Franklin Road Academy trench factory yet? Dhillon Booker Dhillon Booker 6'1" | 210 lbs | EDGE/ATH Franklin Road Academy | 2029 TN is the next defensive end prospect up for the Panthers.

He has a strong baseline frame to continue to add weight on to that should complement his natural athleticism and movement skills.

If there is any indication to be made about his potential, he has rotated in as a freshman behind a Division One recruit that is an essential leader of the team.

He will need to get bigger, but I trust the staff at FRA to help him reach his potential physically and on the field, making him an exciting young prospect to know inside the state of Tennessee.

A very gifted two-sport athlete who very well could transition out of the Defensive Line group and into the Athlete (ATH) group very quickly. Booker was part of a historically good Rose Park Middle School football team and basketball teams over the last few years. This summer he picked up his first verbal offer from Nicholls State University after a good camp showing. Look for him to continue to dominate the gridiron and the hardwood at Franklin Road Academy.
