Belbruno is a safety with "center fielder" type range and ball skills. There are several plays on his highlights where he takes great angles, stays patient in deep third and halves, and positions himself to take the ball away. Belbruno also tracks the ball well in the air and can adjust to overthrown or floating passes. I like how he comes downhill and puts himself in position to make plays, rather than chasing from behind. Would like to see him finish lower-body tackles with more wrap-through technique.

Griffith is an edge defender who plays with a potent blend of power and effort. He also flashes traits that could translate to either edge defender or middle linebacker (most of his highlights are of him at edge defender). Griffith consistently wins with power at the point of attack. On multiple reps, he takes on offensive tackles and guards head up, bullrushes through them, and collapses the pocket. In one highlight, he forced a strip-sack by overpowering the tackle, closing on the quarterback with speed, and knocking the ball loose for a turnover. There's another play where he diagnosed a screen quickly, got his hands up, tipped the pass, and helped create a turnover that went for a score. That shows sound processing and instincts. I like his motor as well. Even on plays away from him, he continues to chase down and finish the play. There's always room, somewhere at the next level, for a prospect who plays physical, plays downhill, and finishes on defence.

Cole is an undersized linebacker who has done a solid job despite playing out of position. Against the run, I like how he regularly shows effort and leverage discipline. On multiple plays, he works well as a support defender: closing down on the perimeter, helping finish tackles behind the line, and forcing runs back inside where the help is arriving. There are a few reps of him in his highlights in zone coverage where he shows an ability to read the quarterback's eyes and stay disciplined in his drop. Cole's willingness to play a position where he's not the biggest and often faces bigger opponents shows how much heart and toughness he has.

As with most athletes of his size, he's an intriguing prospect. His length, closing speed, and discipline on the edge stand out in his highlights. Wheeler does a solid job of consistently maintaining leverage to force quarterbacks inside, where he can finish plays. Wheeler is also an athletic wide receiver with ball skills. I like his ability to high-point the football and make contested catches. Highest ceiling? I'm going with an edge defender. If he focuses on adding more weight and strength, along with adding more pass-rush moves, he can increase his stock as a prospect.

Cashman is an athlete who plays both linebacker and tight end. I'll focus on him as a linebacker in this evaluation. He shows strong instincts and play recognition at the middle linebacker position. I had the opportunity to see him in person and review his most recent highlights. Cashman consistently fills run lanes and usually meets ball carriers at the line of scrimmage. When it comes to pass coverage, he's generally in zone and does a solid job of reading the quarterback's eyes, enabling him to disrupt passes. Cashman is a physical and reliable tackler. I'm impressed with his ability to quickly close down on whoever has the football. Solid Division I prospect.
