Brewster struggled offensively, and was unable to keep up with the high powered Rye offense. Rye took home a 44-19 win, and will move onto the Semi-Finals in the Class A Section One Playoffs. In a day, where I expected a heavy running game, the Harvard commit weathered the storm, and had four touchdowns for his squad. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Miller displayed a high IQ, and found numerous mismatches throughout the game. He had amazing ball placement, which was eye opening given the wind, and showcased his dual-threat ability, using his legs for gains as well. The Rye WR, has an outstanding build, and his 6'5" frame makes him a threat in any 1v1 matchup. Shoemaker had himself a game, with four touchdowns, and over 100 yards. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Shoemaker, used his size to his advantage, and obliterated the Brewster Defense. He wasn't used as a down field threat, but had a major impact with crossing routes. I love his hands, and it feels like he has glue on his gloves as every catch is hauled in. The Rye Senior, has serious speed, and is a RB, I think college coaches should offer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Garnett received a numerous number of carries, due to the wind and showcased his talent. He has unmatched speed, and can hit the gas with ease. I like his vision, and footwork, as gaps opened and closed, he slowed down the game, and made the right read. The Rye prospect, is underrated with most the eyes heading to [player_tooltip player_id='1529592' first='Henry' last='Shoemaker']. Lewis had a productive night as a pass catcher. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He received some of the toughest passes to catch as the win took control of the football. He showed outstanding body control, and great footwork, making sideline, and tough catches look easy. The LB, had an outstanding game on the back end. He is an outstanding prospect with good size, and is one of the main reasons this Rye defense has flourished this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Steinmann, called out multiple plays, and reset players in positions, he has outstanding vision, and a good IQ. He has a plus 4 second air time on almost every punt, and his kicks are high boomers, that travel around 40-50 yards with ease. He was seen at QB most the game, and had a solid day.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Rye Defense stuffed his elite running game, and closed any gaps and holes that existed. Prohaszka responded, by taking the top off twice, with two long touchdown passes, to get Brewster on the board. The line collapsed a lot, and yet the right side, stayed solid against a good Rye squad. In the passing game, he was solid, and showed good strength and footwork, while keeping the pocket clean. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
