Garnett transferred in from Taft, and the system is yet to update this, but his page will be fixed in the next ranking. The Senior RB, had a slow day due to the good run defense of Somers, but I still saw what I liked from him.
Garnett, has elite speed, and once he receives the handoff, he is gone. His strength was evident throughout the game, as while hitting the gaps, the defense swarmed him, forcing him to power through for gains, which he did. The Senior committed to Chicago this past weekend, and will be a valuable back.

Garnett was a player I was most intrigued to see on Friday. The Rye Senior, has serious speed, and is a RB, I think college coaches should offer.
Garnett received a numerous number of carries, due to the wind and showcased his talent. He has unmatched speed, and can hit the gas with ease. I like his vision, and footwork, as gaps opened and closed, he slowed down the game, and made the right read. After the hole opened, he was gone, an outstanding burst, and serious speed is what you get with Garnett.

Garnett will be transferring to The Taft School after his state championship-winning season as a sophomore on varsity with Rye. the RB/LB prospect was a rotational back and defensive back for a loaded offense and Garnett looks to continue to develop his game at Taft where his quickness and athleticism will bring more athleticism to an already strong roster. Garnett has the skillset and talent to play on both sides of the ball and although now a prospect on PrepRedzone New England I am excited to see what he can do against strong competition.
