Northwest Cabarrus at JM Robinson: Offensive Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The JM Robinson Bulldogs dominated their county rivals, the NW Cabarrus Trojans, this past Friday Night. The Bulldogs won this one in a convincing fashion, 56-6, with the power of a great running game on offense and smothering pursuit on defense. There were some standouts on both teams offensively in this one. His stats in this one weren't eye popping - 80 yards rushing and 110 yards passing - but he was in complete control. JM Robinson runs a good bit of read option from shotgun, and I'd say Aury was about 95% correct on his reads on Friday Night. Aury rushed for a touchdown and had two touchdown passes - one of them truly highlight worthy. On only 10 carries, LJ totaled 175 Rushing Yards and 3 Rushing Touchdowns. LJ is known for his speed and agility with the football in his hands, but in this one, LJ showed some impressive power - running through multiple tackle attempts by the Trojans. Elijah did a great job in pass protection, but he really showed well in his run blocking - on one touchdown run in particular, Elijah had two pancakes and met his running back in the end zone. On 10 carries, Ennis totaled 88 yards and a touchdown run, and he was very quick and elusive with the football in his hands. Ennis showed why he has multiple early offers as a Class of 2028 prospect. Ennis also played some linebacker on defense and totaled 8 tackles on that side of the ball, tying for the team lead. Antonio totaled 4 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown. Antonio had an incredible highlight catch for a touchdown that has been all over social media in this one. At 5'11 and 225 pounds, he showed some impressive speed on that run.
