I think out of our Top 5 players here, Aury might be the most underrated, but he also may be the most productive in terms of yardage on the field as well. This past season, Aury threw for over 2500 yards and 26 touchdowns, which by itself would be a great season for most high school quarterbacks. But then, once you factor in the rushing totals for Aury, which he rushed for over 1000 yards and 9 rushing touchdowns, you quickly learn how special a talent he is. College football programs are taking notice of Aury as well, as he now has offers from Lenoir-Rhyne, Wofford, Army, and Air Force.

Greenfield is one of the most dynamic dual-threat quarterbacks in the 704, and he enters his senior season as a matchup nightmare for defenses. As a junior, he accounted for elite production with 2,574 passing yards and 26 touchdowns, while adding 1,040 rushing yards and 9 more scores on the ground. He stresses defenses in multiple ways—extending plays with his legs, creating off-script throws, and punishing teams that lose containment. Greenfield’s athleticism allows the offense to stay explosive even when plays break down, and his experience at quarterback shows in his command and confidence. With that level of production and versatility, he is firmly established as one of the biggest offensive threats in the region heading into his final high school season.

I tell people all the time that Aury is probably the best quarterback you don’t really know because he’s outside of Charlotte, up in the Concord area at JM Robinson. He’s a dynamic dual-threat player who excels in both zone read and RPO offensive schemes. It is fun to watch him consistently make the right decision in those schemes on film. Aury has very good speed and has nice accuracy throwing the football to all levels of the field. He’s a strong candidate for this 704 Junior Bowl team.

An electric athlete, Greenfield averaged nearly 10 yards a rush during his 1,000-yard, nine-touchdown junior season as a runner. As a passer, he’s remarkably accurate, especially against zone coverage, often throwing receivers open and putting the ball in a spot to maximize yardage after the catch. That works well because he’s too athletic to play man against, even with a spy. If teams play zone, he picks them apart. If they play man, he runs all over. If they bring pressure, he’s heady enough to evade.

Simply put, I thought Aury was the most complete quarterback in attendance at this showcase. I thought Aury moved smoothly throughout the agility circuit, and his individual period work showed excellent fundamentals – it is obvious that he has been coached very well. Aury had a great junior season in leading the Bulldogs to the 4th round of the state playoffs, and with a lot of his teammates returning next season, it could be an even deeper run for them next year.

Aury did an excellent job orchestrating an exceptional performance by the Bulldog Offense. His stats in this one weren’t eye popping – 80 yards rushing and 110 yards passing – but he was in complete control. JM Robinson runs a good bit of read option from shotgun, and I’d say Aury was about 95% correct on his reads on Friday Night. Aury rushed for a touchdown and had two touchdown passes – one of them truly highlight worthy. I spoke with Aury after the game.

This was my first look at Aury in game action, and he’s a dual-threat quarterback who really can throw with some impressive velocity on his passes. Aury scored the first touchdown for the Bulldogs on a read option play down near the goalline, showing some smart decision-making in the process. The Bulldogs are doing some reloading in the passing game, so the running game will be a major emphasis for them, especially starting the season.

Multiple people at Jay M Robinson absolutely rave about this young man and his future, so I started watching him in pregame warmups during the playoffs while covering their games. Aury does look very fundamentally sound, and his throws have a distinctive touch I’ve only seen from one other quarterback in this class –

. The ball pops coming off of his hands, and in watching some film, he has the right anticipation and presence at the position. In limited Varsity action this season, Aury threw 5 touchdown passes and rushed for 3 more. We will be talking about him a good bit over the next two years.
