Dunphy has been doing a little bit of everything the entire season for the D2 power and has had a very impressive post season campaign for the Mustangs heading into the section title game. He is one of the better defenders across the entire bay area and a very explosive outside linebacker with elite tackling abilities, closing speed and packs a punch at the point of attack. He has tremendous natural instincts in zone coverage, gets hands on route runners when walling off and can take on blockers with a good strike when setting the edge while flashing pass rush abilities. He should fit nicely in as a outside linebacker in college and is a FCS+ prospect that has been flying under the radar and will be a quality late addition to a signing class. In the NCS semi-finals, he posted 15 tackles, 3 TFL's and was able to effectively shut down an entire half of the field from his OLB spot.

Ellis has been on an absolute tear this season ever since completing his sit-out period after transferring from James Logan. He is a stellar athlete with elite contact balance and physicality through the hole while able to gain the tough yards inside, look for contact and also has the lateral movement and twitch to get outside the tackles as well. He has been posting numerous 100+ yard rushing performances through out the season for the Dragons and this week in the NCS D6 semi-finals it was no different in St. Helena. Ellis erupted again and rushed for 182 yards and 4 touchdowns in a lopsided win over the Saints and is another prospect that should see his stock rise this off-season as he is one of the top '27 backs across the bay area.

Casanovas is a two-time state champion and proven winner and punched his ticket into his third consecutive section title game for the Mustangs. He got it done on the ground in the D5 semi-finals on Saturday afternoon and took over the game with his legs rushing for 116 yards and 3 touchdowns and passed for over 120 yards while showing full command of the offense and doing a good job controlling the game from start to finish. Casanovas will be a key piece in this Mustang offensive attack playing against one of the top teams in the entire north coast section in Ferndale in a clash of two of the top small school powers in the state of California.

Martinez has quietly been one of the more productive players across the redwood empire this season for Ukiah and had himself a night in the NCS D4 semi-finals against Vintage of Napa. He was able to break loose on multiple occasions downfield and showed elite open field speed/seperation with outstanding ball skills and strong hands on multiple receptions. He is a no-brainer college caliber player at the D3/D2 level and has plus size/athletic ability and is going to be a nice late steal for a 4 year school or JUCO program. He erupted for nearly 200 yards receiving and 2 scores in a tight 1 point win in a wild finish in Napa Friday night.

McDonald has been one of the top breakout players we have seen this season across the region, and is a explosive athlete that can effect the game from the backfield, slot or on the outside. He has elite downfield speed, strong hands when going up to win at the POA and has the ideal short area twitch and wiggle in the open field when making tacklers miss. He also flashes he can be a diverse route runner with precise cuts, patience and knows how to beat both man and zone coverage from anywhere on the field. McDonald is a big reason why Hayward has stamped their ticket to the NCS D4 section title game as he posted impressive numbers in the semi-finals going for 100+ yards rushing and 2 score while adding another 2 scores receiving as well.
