Georgia High School: Special Late Season Performers

However, in Georgia just right before the Georgia High School Football playoffs, it gets very crucial to finish the regular season strong. He has had a terrific year and just last week, the freshman phenom threw for 276 yards and rushed for nearly 100 yards and two touchdowns. Baxter is a name to really follow. Last week, McPherson helped lead his team to a big 38-7 win over an undefeated New Manchester to win the Region Championship in region 5-5A. McPherson was 18-21 passing for an impressive 260 yards and he added on 104 rushing yards on the ground with a touchdown. McPherson will be relied upon big in the playoffs as Rome looks to make another successful run that they are used to. The Notre Dame commit has been having himself quite the year. last week, Jarrard threw for 321 yards and three scores and winning by a whopping score of 70-21 over Etowah. Davis has been a key piece on both sides of the ball at the running back position and the linebacker position. When playing Murray County last week, Davis rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Davis caught two passes in the receiving game and had double digit solo tackles with 10. Davis had four assist and two quarterback hurries in a 65-10 win. Worsham has been a force on the gridiron this season and is going to be a key piece for this Rome Wolves defense in the upcoming playoffs.
