10. Curtis (Last Week, 10)

The defending PSAL champions, are right back at the top of the state this season. Curtis finished the season 8-2, and played some brutal competition this season. The past week saw them losing 14-13 to Tottenville. The Pirates are undefeated this season, and are the top team in the PSAL, making this a quality loss for Curtis. Their other loss came at the hands Erasmus Hall at the midpoint in the season. The season, was met with some high points, with wins against Lincoln, North Rockland, and St. Peter's. While I typically knock a team down for a loss, the Warriors have had an impressive season, and should make a good playoff loss. With a close one point loss to Tottenville, I see a playoff rematch in the future.

9. William Floyd (Last Week, 9)

The Mastic Beach Monsters are one of my top teams on LI. Sitting at 9-0 on the season, they have rolled through competition, and are my favorites in Section 11 Division One. The Colonials, took down Sachem East, in a First round playoff win this past weekend, by a score of 34-14. They will face the #4 or #5 seed in the semi-finals this weekend, and I see a matchup against Ward Melville in their future in the Championship Game. Some key wins this season, come against Ward Melville, Sachem North, Walt Whitman, and Brentwood. [player_tooltip player_id='1208768' first='Ja'Quan' last='Thomas'] is a stud at RB, and he can take this team far.

8. CBA-Albany (Last Week, 7)

After an 0-2 start to the season, the Brothers from Albany, looked lost. Since Week Two, they have exploded and put their mark on Section Two. The Brothers face Saratoga Springs this weekend, in a Section Championship match. The Blue Streaks are hungry after a huge win over Shenendehowa this past week. On the season, some key wins for this squad have come against Shenendehowa, Colonie Central, and Saratoga Springs. All four of these teams made the playoffs, and CBA-Albany, showed out for a huge win against Colonie Last Week. A win this weekend for Coach Burns and his squad, could see the Brothers make another deep playoff run this season.

7. CBA-Syracuse (Last Week, NR)

The Brothers in Syracuse find themselves back in the list for my final rankings of the year. The level of competition they play, has been my biggest knock, but sitting undefeated, and being a game away from a potential deep playoff run is not something I can deny. This week, the Brothers once again face Liverpool in the Section Three AA Championship. On the year, CBA-Albany, has good wins against Cicero-North Syracuse, and Liverpool. While the Warriors have a chance to win, CBA-Albany has destroyed their competition this season, and is by far the top team in Section Three.

6. Tottenville (Last Week, 6)

Tottenville, is once again one of the top teams in Staten Island. The Pirates sit undefeated on the season, and come off a huge win over PSAL opponent Curtis. Some key wins this season, have come against Curtis, Erasmus Hall, Wagner, and Lincoln. The Pirates will seriously make a playoff run this season. [player_tooltip player_id='402273' first='Tyshawn' last='Bent'], and [player_tooltip player_id='426454' first='Kory' last='Brown'], combine to give us one of the top RB Duo's in the state. I like this team a lot, and they can easily slide in the #4-#6 range for me in my power rankings.
