Expert Analysis
Nick DeMaio | Prep Redzone Scout
Brown is an ideal RB/slot WR hybrid. He’s a weapon wherever he lines up and can be deployed in multiple ways on the field. He’s a natural receiver. He’s the twitchiest of all of the guys here and also has really impressive burst. Brown’s got short area quickness, he’s got long speed, he can pull away from the third level and turn the corner on anyone. His speed is hit best weapon undoubtedly. I’d like to see him put on a little more weight and become a little more physical between the tackles. It’s not necessary to his game but it’d add another dimension. His twitchiness and speed, though, are still really strong traits that you can’t teach.

. The 5’8″ 175-Pound Prospect displays an undersized but sturdy frame for the RB position. He keeps his spot from the previous rankings, and once again slots into the top five.
The name of the game with Brown is speed, and he has a ton of it. His vision is elite, and he pairs it with his elite speed. He can slow things down at the line, and uses it to reach the second level with ease. His footwork is elite, and he dominates at making players miss across the field.

Brown, who easily could be considered the top prospect of this Tottenville team just like Bent, holds multiple P4 offers but adds some verified speeds on the track to his reputation that not many backs in the northeast can compete with. A shorter prospect at 5’7, Brown is very built and muscular. While Bent shouldered a lot in the regular season, it was Brown who dominated the postseason, which saw Tottenville make it to the PSAL championship game.
Brown is super explosive, which is evident when you watch his starts on the track. He has the long speed to turn anything into a touchdown and shows a good change of direction in open space.

There is a lot of RB talent, but none of these backs have the speed Brown has. The Tottenville RB is a part of the most dangerous RB duo in New York and a dominant sprinter who has run sub 10.7 100m and sub 6.6 55m on the track.
Brown may be a smaller back, but he is already muscular and likely has the ability to push 200lbs at the next level. Brown has elite breakaway speed. Brown is a level above opponents and RBs on this list when it comes to burst and explosiveness. His athleticism jumps off the screen on film.

Brown attended Boston College camp this past week and after a strong performance picked up his 3rd FBS offer from Boston College and now has each of the major P4 schools in the northeast in his offer bag.

After being injured at the beginning of the year, New York’s top freshman has lived up to the hype when he’s been on the field. Brown, who has already secured an offer from Rutgers, has been tearing up the PSAL’s top division. The speedster has been something special when he’s gotten the chance to carry the football. 762 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, including impressive performances in the playoffs. Brown creates a scary combination with

is a different animal when it comes to speed, strength and explosion in athletes just getting set to start their freshman season. After leading the Staten Island Lions to the Pop Warner National Championship Tournament, the do-it-all back has seen his stock rise tremendously during the off-season. While I initially saw and covered him about him about a year ago, it was during the Prep Redzone Next camp this past winter that saw him explode. He ran a mind-blowing 4.47 (hand-timed) in the forty at the camp–twice. I called that collection of backs that most talented group we’ve ever had at a PRZ Next camp, and he walked away with MVP. Since that January afternoon, he’s gone on to pick up his first offer from Rutgers University. More recently, he also cleaned up at the 2023 USATF National Youth Outdoor Championship in June, taking first in the 200M (21.96) and 100M (10.62)–the latter being a personal record. Brown is one of the fastest young men in the country and is our No.1 prospect in New York for the class of 2027.

is a freak athlete and the RB picked up a huge first offer from Rutgers which is bound to put him on the radar of all the top Power 5 and Group of 5 schools in the Northeast. I saw him run back to back 4.47 hand timed 40-yards at the PRZ Next camp in NJ. That was the fastest time of any athlete that day from both the middle school and high school camps. Brown is a stud and could follow top 2026 players Clemons and Carey in terms of the National Recruiting attention he will receiver.

out of New York. An absolutely rocked up 2027 prospect who passes the eye test right away. He’s the type of back that that welcomes contact with his strong muscular frame and is very tough to bring down, as he runs with a low center of gravity and relentlessly pumping legs. As an eighth-grade Running Back, he’s the complete package at the position. On top of his obvious power, he was clocked (hand-timed) at a 4.47 in the forty yard dash–not once, but twice. He also posted a position-best 4.53 in the shuttle. Brown is an absolute stud and colleges should start to kick the tires early on him, but we’ll see if it happens in the often-overlooked New York City.

Was physically on a different level than the other athletes, in the best collection of Running Backs I have ever seen at a camp–without question. Measured in at 5-foot-7, 160-pounds and popped 4.47 in the forty…twice.
