Buecher has had a good year 2, where he's not only broken out, but proven to be a workhorse they can feed. He's got good vision through the hole and has a good feel for how to read blocks in development. I like his acceleration and ability to stop and start. He rushed for 1351 yards and 12 TDs while adding another 28 catches for 149 yards and 1 more TD. His versatility out of the backfield is something I think they can build on moving forward as well.

Gaither II is one of the young backs Luers has who looks good, showed potential, and had a good Varsity year. He split time, but he's a dynamic back with good speed. He's going to get to the edge if you allow a crease and rip off a big run. He's got quick feet and his eyes lead the way. He put up 888 rushing yards and 6 TDs this season, but I think he builds on it next year. They have a good duo back there, and Gaither is an exciting piece of that.

Crandall has had back-to-back seasons on Varsity to start his high school career, and he improved quite a bit from year 1 to year 2. He's more powerful, runs with more confidence, and seems like he saw the field better. While I do wish he were a part of a more traditional offense, he's got such good vision that he can get through the traffic. Through 21 games, he's put up 1224 rushing yards and 26 TDs. I would anticipate his workload jumps quite a bit in year 3, but time will tell.

Luedike is a multi-sport athlete for Monroe Central who had a fairly impressive freshman year on the baseball field, but then came out and looked just as good on the football field this season. He's got good body control and can stay up on contact because his balance is so good. He can run in tight spaces and get small, yet he has enough power to drive through with his legs. 707 rushing yards and 9 TDs in year 2, but it's how comfortable he looked that was my biggest takeaway.

Cayce is a taller back who has good power and runs behind his pads. He's got decent speed as well, but is best in between the tackles. He's able to stay consistent and seems like a guy who can wear down a defense. I like how he braces for contact and can bounce off some would-be tacklers. If he gets into the open field, he has the speed to house it, which he showed when he broke an 85-yarder this year. His 610 rushing yards and 7 TDs were just the start because you can expect his role to jump quite a bit in year 3.
