It has been a terrific 2025 for Edmond Santa Fe defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='284115' first='Jae'Lin' last='Battle'] and he's capping it by moving up 12 spots in the 2026 class and knocking on the door of being a top ten overall prospect. We've said it for a while when it came to Battle over the last few years. He's one of the more dominant players in the state, regardless of position but he needed to stay healthy. Battle kicked off this year by dominating the Under Armour camp down in Dallas and that momentum continued throughout the spring and summer. Battle then turned his attention to tearing things up against 6A-1 competition and he certainly did that. He became a legitimate P4 prospect and he continued to pick up offers this season. When we thought of 2026 prospects who raised their stock this year, Battle was definitely at the top of that list.

Southmoore defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1179993' first='Nakwaine' last='Carter'] is right there with Battle and you could honestly flip a coin between the two of them and be happy with the results. Carter is an absolute monster on the defensive line and he has steadily gotten better over the last few seasons to the point where he is one of the more dominant interior defensive linemen in the state. First off, like most great defensive linemen, Carter has had to deal with countless double teams this season. In the rare case where he's not double-teamed, Carter makes the opponent pay immediately. He is an incredibly well balanced defensive lineman. He can be a force on the line of scrimmage but even when he's not getting in the backfield, he can impact the game in other ways. Whether it's opening holes for teammates or getting his hands into the passing lane.

Norman North left tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1626554' first='Daniel' last='McMorris'] flew up the rankings 14 spots and is firmly considered one of the top offensive linemen in this class. McMorris is committed to Cal and it's a great get for them because he is an incredibly impressive and athletic left tackle prospect. Throw on his film from this season it doesn't even take a minute to realize what kind of talent McMorris possesses and he's just scratching the surface on what he's going to be down the line. Whether he's mauling guys on the line of scrimmage or getting out to the second level or on the boundaries and tossing defensive backs down, he is a very fun player to watch. McMorris is an example of a prospect where the ceiling is incredibly high and it wouldn't be surprising in three or four years that we look back and think he should have been much higer.

Owasso wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='911962' first='Julius' last='Wilson'] has been a prospect that we've always been intrigued by. Even going back to his breakout season at Holland Hall in 2023. He has the size and athletic ability to be an absolute game changer. Last season, he slowly got more comfortable in the Owasso offense but this season, he's been that guy for the Rams. Even in their toughest games, Wilson has still produced at a very high level. Colleges started to take notice. Wilson was offered and he eventually committed to Oklahoma State this fall. He's started to put everything together and with colleges coming after him, it's clear that he's a P4 prospect. In this update, Wilson moved up 22 spots in the overall rankings and he's starting to flirt with being considered one of the top guys at the wide receiver position in this class.

Our second Owasso Ram to make this list is running back [player_tooltip player_id='1549987' first='Jayden' last='Hall'] and like Wilson, he jumped up 22 spots and he's without a doubt one of the more underrated 2026 prospects in Oklahoma. Hall was always productive, despite splitting carries as a sophomore and as a junior. But it was around this time last year that Hall started to take over and become a dominant force running the rock. This season, despite Owasso losing to P4 offensive linemen, Hall has been even better. In our opinion, he's been one of the best running backs in the state, regardless of class and that's not even up for debate. It seems like every week, Hall has been as close to a lock for 150+ yards and at least three touchdowns. He's playing outstanding football this season and more colleges should be heading to Owasso to try and get Hall late in this cycle.
