He has tight mechanics/throwing motion and can get the ball out quick while showing he can throw on the run and buy time with his legs with downfield speed and a good initial burst and some wiggle in the open field as well. Heaslet also shows he can deliver on schedule throws to a variety of targets with throw anticipation and accuracy in tight windows over the top or on out-breaking routes. In week 7, he had another big showing throwing for over 260 yards and 3 scores and has the Knights sitting at 6-1 with only suffering a opening week loss to Tulare Union. He is a twitchy and explosive runner that can get downhill quickly, runs through contact with natural forward lean and can gain the tough yards inside while also able to bounce it outside the tackles when needed and make defenders miss in the open field. He is also an excellent pass catcher out of the backfield and is seemingly very comfortable in space and looks to dominate the central valley over the next three years. He is a dual-threat and athletic passer that has tight mechanics and a quick throwing motion and has been severely under-recruited so far. He had another big time showing in week 7 last week throwing for over 300 yards and a score against Central Valley Christian. Patterson is very explosive and twitchy in the open field, shows elite route running abilities and start/stop skills while near impossible to take down in the open field and is a natural pass catcher out of the backfield. He is a physical route runner with outstanding body control and hands in traffic and shows he can create seperation downfield and is a physical runner after the catch. He is also a long strider that chunks yardage and can get off man coverage and is overall a very polished player, especially for only a sophomore. He is another prospect that had a big week 7 in the valley going for 100+ yards receiving and 2 touchdowns against Mt.
