Winkles is one of the top passers in the north coast section this year and has Acalanes primed to make a deep playoff run here as soon as the regular season ends. He is a very efficient passer with tight mechanics, a strong arm downfield and good movement in the pocket with sneaky dual-threat abilities and is very dangerous both through the air and with his legs. In a big time NCS clash of two of the top teams this year, he had a very strong showing and exploded on both front, having almost 300 yards of total offense and 4 touchdowns in a big time win over Campolindo.

The California high product is another one of the top passers across the north coast section this fall and has been very efficient at spreading the ball around to multiple weapons on the outside. He has been flying under the radar and is a no-brainer quarterback at the D3+ level in college and is going to be another late steal for a college program before national signing day. The senior passer had another big week and threw for over 270 yards in a multi-score win over a very young but talented San Ramon Valley squad.

Jackson who is another one of the top players in the OAL and one of the top hybrid linebackers in northern California, had a stellar performance in Oaklands rivalry game Friday night. The Colorado State commit erupted for 250+ yards receiving on only eight receptions and 3 touchdowns. Defensively, he was also all over the place making plays sideline to sideline and showing position versatility at the OLB/SS position. With the clearing of the Colorado State coaching staff over the weekend, his commitment will be one to watch as we near the first national signing day and it will be interesting to see if the Rams will be able to keep his commitment or if he ends up at another MWC/Big Sky school.

Luckey seems to be a mainstay on these weekly top performance reports and did more of the same in week 7 against Miramonte on Friday night. Luckey is one of the top backs in the state and had another stellar performance rushing for a eye-popping five touchdowns and another score receiving. He is a very balanced prospect on the ground and as a receiver, and has shown he should provide immediate depth once he goes to the college ranks. He is currently committed to Fresno State and will be a big time get for the Bulldogs if they can keep him until he inks in a couple months.

Colvin has been putting up big time numbers across the OAL this season and had another strong showing this week on Friday night. He passed for 350+ yards and six touchdowns against Oakland Tech and did plenty of damage with his legs as well, buying time in the pocket and delivering on-schedule throws. Only a Junior, Colvin will be one of the top returning players in the OAL heading into the 2026 season and should lead Oakland to post-season success next month as they have a loaded team with multiple FBS caliber talents.
