The Fresno State commit has been leading the Ugly Eagles all season both on the ground and catching out of the backfield and has shown he is a elite ball carrier that can effect the game in multiple ways. He had another strong showing in the opening round of the NCS D2 playoffs against Windsor and piled up over 250 total yards and 2 touchdowns and was effective in-between the tackles and as a receiver out of the backfield. He has rushed for over 2,000 yards so far this year and will look to make a deep post-season push for CVC as they enter into the semi-finals this Friday night against top seeded Campolindo.

Luckey seems to be a mainstay on these weekly top performance reports and did more of the same in week 7 against Miramonte on Friday night. Luckey returns for his senior year after being the section’s leading rusher in 2024 with 2,053 yards and 33 touchdowns. 5’9” 180 lbs. he’s got true explosiveness with short area quickness to be elusive and the long speed to break away in the open field. The California high school product is one of the top running backs across the region and is poised for a huge senior season. Coming off a tremendous Junior year where he rushed for 2,000 yards, Lucky has had a very busy off-season hauling in offers from coast to coast. He recently picked up offers from Weber State and Georgetown and the talented back is one of the top uncommitted backs available.

Luckey is an explosive playmaker and homerun threat every time he touches the ball. Luckey has been on a complete tear so far in his Junior season and is a no brainer next level kid and should be one of the top recruited Bay Area prospects this off-season. So far this season, he has rushed for 1,900 yards and 30 scores while averaging 10 yards per carry. These elite stat lines are good for the top spot in the North Coast Section, and some of the best in the state. In the final week of the season in a wild game against Amador Valley, Luckey had a state record breaking night with 7 touchdowns and rushed for an absurd 425 yards on 30+ carries. Luckey holds one offer from Washington State, and should be a 5+ offer guy by the time this off-season comes to an end.

Luckey has been one of the top rushers across the Norcal region for the first part of this season, and has established himself as one of the regions top players. He had another big night against Granada rushing for nearly 200 yards and four touchdowns, and running wild once again. Currently he holds a Washington state offer but he should soon add other offers to his list as he progresses through the season and we get into the off-season.
