Athey is the most underrated player in the entire state in my opinion and is a division 1 talent that I think every FCS and G5 school need to jump on. A raw talent with excellent play strength and football IQ that plays with a mean streak. Very adaptable player with the ability to play anywhere along both the DL and OL, and will excel wherever he lines up. He shows an excellent punch with violent hands on both sides of the ball, while flashing a nasty swim move as a defensive lineman- and does a great job utilizing his full arsenal, making it extremely difficult to manage as an OL, which is why he is double and triple teamed every week. I can speak personally that he is a very difficult kid to coach against, and is deserving of a division 1 opportunity. New Mexico made an in-person visit to Athey at Camp Verde as well this offseason.

Helgeson has lit up 3A this season and has absolutely torched every defense he's gone up against, as the fewest points SCA has scored this year is 33 o their 33-6 week 1 win. In 7 games, he's thrown for over 1,400 yards and 21 TD's with just 1 INT. A very accurate passer from the pocket and shows excellent touch and finesse on throws on those 2 and 3 ball type of throws. He does a good job going through progression on designed sprint outs to come backside and hot those deep and intermediate crossers. He currently holds a handful of NAIA and D3 offers, and has a chance to lead SCA to historic 3-peat here in 2025.

Alexander is a kid we've been talking about for a few years now, and has finally gotten the respect he deserves as he just earned offers from Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and UCLA. The 6'6" 305lb big man up front has been a crucial part of the success in that explosive offense at Ben franklin, dominating any opponent lined up against him in 3A. Solid get initial get off and does a great job with hand placement, while finishing opponents with his strong lower half drive. Tons of intangibles for Alexander moving forward, as he will be a great addition to whichever program he chooses.

Lang's frame and build should be an initial attention catcher for college coaches with a lean, athletic 6'3" 210lb frame, and when you add his productivity on top of that, he should be a no-brainer offer now type of kid. He has already out up 9.5 sacks, 13 TFL's, 2 INT's, and 37 total tackles in just 6 games played. A well-polished player in all phases of the game with really good play speed and play strength and a nose for the ball. He can beat OT's with both speed or physicality, yet also drop into zone coverage if needed and excel. A legit gamechanger on the defensive side of the ball at the 3A level.

Speir has been a nightmare for defenses to gameplan against and is putting on a clinic with 927 yards and 10 TD's on 37 receptions, while making a statement in a huge game against Gilbert Christian where he hauled in 10 catches for 185 yards. Really good length within that 6'2" frame with room to add mass which provides him with a solid upside considering he already possesses excellent play strength and physicality after the catch. I watched him pull in numerous athletic grabs a few weeks back against Valley Christian, showcasing that catch radius and body control.
