Expert Analysis
Jordan Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Alexander’s recruitment has exploded during his senior campaign. He entered the season holding three FCS offers, but his stock has surged, adding seven more—including five Power Four programs such as UCLA, West Virginia, and Stanford. Now standing 6’6”, 315 pounds with an impressive 81” wingspan, he blends prototype size with a refined, physical playing style. He’s quick out of his stance, gaining early positioning, and he explodes at the contact point to generate movement in the run game. His hand usage has become a real strength—active, controlled, and able to latch on and sustain blocks through the whistle. As his foot speed and overall athleticism have improved, he’s become even more dangerous, capable of overwhelming defenders with both technique and raw power. With recent visits to Arizona, BYU, UCLA, and Stanford, a commitment decision appears to be on the horizon. Alexander is one of the region’s fastest-rising offensive line prospects.

Alexander is a kid we’ve been talking about for a few years now, and has finally gotten the respect he deserves as he just earned offers from Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and UCLA. The 6’6″ 305lb big man up front has been a crucial part of the success in that explosive offense at Ben franklin, dominating any opponent lined up against him in 3A. Solid get initial get off and does a great job with hand placement, while finishing opponents with his strong lower half drive. Tons of intangibles for Alexander moving forward, as he will be a great addition to whichever program he chooses.

looks every bit the part of a next-level tackle — big, long, and athletic, but with that mean streak coaches love. At 6’6″ and right around 300 pounds, he moves way better than a guy that size should, showing off nimble feet and balance on tape. He’s not just a space-eater either; he finishes plays with authority, piling up pancakes and clearing lanes like it’s second nature. Alexander’s length lets him lock out edge rushers, and he’s got the power to cave in defenders on inside runs. He’s got all the raw tools you’d want in a developmental tackle — the kind who might redshirt early and then turn into a cornerstone by year two or three. The ceiling here is sky‑high — he’s the kind of kid who looks like he belongs on Saturdays.

Alexander is a big, strong kid with all kinds of division 1 potential. He moves well within that 6’6″ 300lb frame and is a nasty pulling Guard to reach LB’s or get to the second level to then showcase excellent leverage and play strength- frequently punishing opponents and finishing blocks to the ground. If he doesn’t finish the block to the ground, he’s driving opponents 10 yards out of the play. He holds ground well in a pass set, showing a strong base with a good center of gravity and balance.

Alexander has continued to grow and add weight to his frame now at 6’6” 295 lbs. with an 81” wingspan. He’s got good footwork and technique both as a run blocker and in his pass set. Plays with a wide base and shows good contact balance at initial contact. Keeps his feet underneath his body and drives through contact. Strength and size allow him to overpower opponents in the run game. Uses his length to his advantage to gain positioning and stay in front of defenders. Flashes quick feet and plus mobility to recover or work to the second level. He’s a three sport athlete (football/wrestling/basketball) with good potential and should see his recruitment pick up going into his junior season.

naturally has a good amount of length and power. His ability to put it all together on the field is quite impressive. Still possessing quick feet, he does a great job of using them to keep even the speedy defenders in front of him. In the pass set, once Alexander gets his hands on the defenders, he seems to have immediate control of the situation. In the run game, he’s very aggressive and allows the power and quick feet to really take over as he drives defenders backward. Alexander is a player that coaches should be watching closely as we head into 2024.
