He has a good arm, and he keeps plays alive by scrambling around. He also makes plays all over the field as a defender. His ability to run the ball both on the edge on tosses and in between the tackles is impressive. He is hard to tackle as he is a physical runner. He also has good speed to run by defenders. Bechtel is also a good linebacker who makes tackles in or near the line of scrimmage at a high rate. Dauble is a key player, both as a linebacker making tackles all over the field and as a tight end making key blocks everywhere.
