is a good player who makes plays on both sides of the ball at a high level. On offense, he is a dynamic player who makes plays at a high level. He is a good runner who is hard to tackle. He also catches the ball well. Then, on defense, he is a good defender who makes plays all over the field. Cumberland Valley opens up the District 3 Playoffs 1st round against Central Dauphin in a 7th vs. 10th match-up. This is a rematch from a win earlier this year, but they will need Pines to play at a high level. He is more than capable of doing it.

is one of the best two-way players in the state. He is a dynamic offensive weapon who can make plays as a wide receiver and as a running back. He is excellent at making defenders miss and always gaining extra yards. He is also a physical player who runs through contact well. As a defender, that’s where I love his film. His ability to fly around the field and make plays against the offense in both the run and pass games is impressive. He is an excellent tackler who tackles offensive players in the open field at a high level. Pines is a game breaker on both sides of the ball and has a bright future. He should eventually get some offers from Colleges.

is one of the best athletes in the 2026 class. His ability to play as a running back/wide receiver on offense and a strong safety on defense is special. As an offensive player, you can play him anywhere. He is good as a wide receiver, catching passes and making defenders miss. He is also a good running back who can be used in the backfield or on jet sweeps. Whenever he touches the ball, he is a difference maker and makes plays. Then on defense, he is the same way, flying around and making tackles all over the field. I am shocked he has no offers yet; he is a Division 1 Football player to me.

is a difference-maker on both sides of the ball for Cumberland Valley. On offense he is used as a running back and as a wide receiver. At both positions, he shows good speed and has the ability to make defenders miss in space. He has good hands as well and makes good catches, especially in traffic. On defense is good in coverage and making tackles in the open field. Pines is a dynamic player on both sides of the ball for Cumberland Valley.

6’2, 190 pounds. Can get a feel for what Pines provides as a two-way athlete thanks to an organized Hudl. After performing well as a sophomore both at CV and at our camp in Manheim, Pines landed relatively well on our 2026 rankings. A Division Two grade provided, yet his work as a junior has me thinking that Pines might be deserving of a bump.
Pines might be on his way to an FCS-capable grade. The junior boasts a phenomenal build while providing the play-making skills of an electric, smaller back. The first rep on tape shows Pines taking a hand-off between the tackles for a 50-yard score without a heavy formation in front of him. Pines is blowing me away from an acceleration perspective. The kid looks more explosive than ever. Can be swung out of the backfield to catch screens, swings, outs, and even delayed wheels. Fantastic hand-eye coordination. I usually lean towards OLB/TE/WR/S when I project backs with this kind of size. If Pines gets FCS love, it will likely come via the Safety/Wideout position. I could see Pines draw interest at back at the Division Two level. A tough ball player you can win with. He can play in the slot on both sides of the ball, is tough enough to get his face mask dirty in support of the run, and has some goal-line reps showing off his toughness. A true stock-riser in every sense of the word.
Pines wrapped up about 6-8 Cougars during my time on the sideline against Harrisburg, he also strung together a handful of runs, one of which went for a score.

is a good athlete that can do it all on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side he does a good job of playing as a running back. He hits the hole well and does a nice job of making defenders miss. He also plays as a slot wide receiver and can be used in the run game and the pass game. As a defensive back he does a good job at making plays in the passing game and coming upfield and providing run support. Pines is a legit prospect who plays well on both sides of the ball.

screams playmaker on the offensive end of the field as a running back. He is equally as good in the run game as in the pass game. He is a dynamic running back who can be used in various roles. Last week against Carlisle he rushed 90 yards and caught 48 yards of receiving. He also scored 4 touchdowns. Pines is a dynamic player who can score anytime he touches the ball.
