After losing two games in a row, Dauble and Exeter won big against Elizabethtown and are in the District 3 playoffs as the 7th seed, where they will face Lower Dauphin. If they want to have a chance to avenge a loss to Conestoga Valley from week 9, they need to take care of business against Lower Dauphin first, and they face them in the next round. Dauble is a key player, both as a linebacker making tackles all over the field and as a tight end making key blocks everywhere. Dauble is a difference maker on both sides of the ball.

This week, Exeter put him in the backfield as a lead blocker for Leo Brown, and he destroyed Muhlenberg players as a blocker. His ability to lead the block was impressive. Then he rushed for a 1-yard touchdown as they gave him the ball, and he rushed for a touchdown. Next, as a linebacker, he was all over the field. His ability to make tackles inside the box and stop Muhlenberg’s run game was impressive. Dauble is a great player, and he showed it Friday night.

He does a good job of playing in space. His ability to read the play and come upfield against the run is excellent, but where he shines is in pass defense. His ability to read the quarterback’s eyes and then make a play on a pass thrown in his direction is really good. Dauble is also a good tackler, especially in the open field. He also saw some time as a tight end last year, and he made one of the best catches I have ever seen when he caught a touchdown pass over two defenders. Dauble is an excellent player who should be able to play tight end this year as well this season.

His instincts are excellent as he does a great job of reading and reacting to the play. He several times had interceptions where he read the quarterback’s eyes and then picked off the pass. He also was excellent at reading his keys and triggering downhill to make tackles in the run game. He does a good job of making tackles, especially in the open field. His ability to make tackles is impressive as he rarely misses. Dauble is also a capable tight end that is a good blocker and can catch the ball as well. Dauble is a talented player in the 2026 class and I expect big things next year from him.

On defense this week, he has 7 tackles and an interception. He is also a monster who is chasing plays all over the field. Then on Friday night he added a touchdown reception as well. Dauble is continuing to grow as a player and making plays each week for Exeter.

Playing linebacker he has shown good range and a solid job tackling players in the open field. He also has shown the speed to stay with fast players like running backs and wide receivers. In last week’s game, he had 10 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery. Dauble is only a Sophomore so he is just scratching the surface of his playing level”.
