He played as an edge defender on the night and as a tight end. As an edge defender, he was outstanding, holding his own against bigger offensive tackles. He does a great job making plays in the offensive backfield. Then, as a tight end, he was outstanding. He was used all over the field as a tight end, including as a fullback in the backfield as a lead blocker. He showed he is a good lead blocker. Then he ran a great route from his tight end position and caught an 18-yard touchdown from the backfield. Kozik showed is be a dynamic player for Exeter.

He is a dynamic player on both sides of the ball. As a tight end, he is a huge difference maker as a catcher and blocker. As a pass catcher, he has the ability to catch the ball and make defenders miss in space. He also shows a good ability to block on the edge as a tight end. Then, on defense, he is a menace at defensive end. He explodes off the ball and does a great job of making plays in the offensive backfield. He has a motor that never quits, and he has good athleticism to chase down plays. Kozik is an excellent addition to the Exeter team and will probably be used on both sides of the ball.

As an edge defender, he does a good job of getting his hands on offensive linemen and keeping contain. Then, when he reads the play, he does an excellent job attacking the offensive backfield. He also chases plays all over the field. His effort by chasing plays everywhere is impressive. At tight end, he does a good job of running routes and catching the ball. He is also good after the catch by turning up-field to gain extra yards. Kozik is a good two-way player.
