On both sides of the ball, he has great size (6’2″) and strength. He is probably one of the strongest linemen in the state. As a defensive lineman, you cannot move him off his spot. He does a great job of stopping the opposing team’s rushing attack. Then, as an offensive lineman, he is a mauler. He does a good job of run blocking as he combo blocks and power drives defensive linemen off the ball. Ummarino is an outstanding lineman in the 2026 class.

He was all over the field for Exeter. 1st, as an offensive lineman, he was his usual dominant self. Ummarino is one of the best run blockers I have seen all season. His strength and power to run block are unmatched by most people. Then, as a defensive tackle, he is impossible to block one-on-one. His ability to split double teams is impressive. Ummarino is a great player on both sides of the ball.

As a defensive lineman, he shows an impressive ability to get off the ball and attack offensive linemen. He gets off the ball quickly. He also has some impressive pass-rushing moves, including one move where he uses a spin move on an offensive lineman. He also cannot be moved off his spot, as he shows good strength at the point of attack. As an offensive lineman, he is a good player who is a mauler in the run game, by driving defenders off the ball. He moves his feet well, and he is also a good pass blocker. Ummarino is a talented lineman that I was impressed with at the Lancaster-Lebanon meeting day, with how he said he mentors younger players. He is also a talented player who has the tools to play even better this season.

His ability to play as both a center on offense and a defensive tackle on defense is impressive. He also plays both at a high level. At center, he does a great job run blocking. His ability to snap the ball and then block defensive tackles and drive them off the ball is impressive. He also moves his feet well and you see it in pass protection with his ability to stay in front of defenders. Then, at the defensive line, he is a load to deal with. He is hard to move off his spot, especially against the run. His ability to disrupt the offensive backfield is also impressive. Ummarino is a good football player on both sides of the ball.

He does a good job using his athleticism and strength to attack the offense. At linebacker, he does a good job of reading his keys and attacking downhill. He also is good at running sideline-to-sideline to make tackles. He also shows a good ability in pass coverage. At defensive end, he is a menace to deal with off the edge and is hard to block. Ummarino going into his Junior year should be able to make an even bigger impact.
