The Cougars have had a good season so far, and a lot of that is because of the offensive production their best offensive player has provided all year long. Despite defenses knowing that he is the guy that has to be stopped, Garrett, time and time again, has produced multiple 100+ yard games on the ground. When Garrett has a good game, typically Charlotte Catholic finds itself in the win column on Friday Nights.

Josh was a good running back last season, but he's taken it to a new level as the Mustangs have had a very strong season so far, emerging as an 8A state title contender. Josh has developed into a real bellcow type of back, shouldering the majority of the carries in a Mustang's offense that has really exploded the last few weeks in both running and throwing the football.

Jadarius, or "J-Man" as most call him, has backed up a strong season last year with even more production this year on a Mooresville offense with a number of good weapons. McCombs' speed in the open field is impressive - he simply doesn't get caught from behind, and his decisiveness in his cuts allows him to pick up maximum yardage on each carry. He will be an important piece for the Blue Devils as they make a run in the state playoffs.

We have had Jayden ranked highly throughout his career here at Prep Redzone North Carolina, and it's been highly deserved. Ever since his sophomore season, Jayden has been one of the best running backs in the state. He's battled through some injury issues this season, but has come back strong in the past couple of weeks, and this past week, the Patriots played their most complete game of the season, blowing out a Chambers team that has played tough against everyone they faced previously. Jayden has next-level agility and vision, to go along with great footwork and speed.

For the past couple of years, Damonte has been his team's first, second, and third option on offense as the Vikings rely a ton on what he can do with the ball in his hands. Damonte has excellent speed, and he uses that to get into open spaces for a couple of big plays per game. Damonte consistently has had rushing games of over 100 yards over the last couple of years, and he was our preseason All-State running back, which he has backed up very well so far this season.

For the last two years, Mason has been a major piece of the Cavaliers' offensive attack. Even more so this year than last, due to some supporting cast changes around him. Despite being the #1 threat offensively, Mason has still found ways to consistently produce for his team. Mason is a strong runner who has good speed once he gets into the open field. He can carry an offense, and I think the East Team has a reliable guy they can lean on in this All-Star game.
