2025 Queen City Senior Bowl Running Backs

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Queen City Senior Bowl is a postseason All-Star Game for senior football players located in the Charlotte, NC Metro Area. The bowl game is in its 7th season and annually hosts 80 of the best players from the Charlotte area. The bowl game raises funds for the Metro School, a school in Charlotte that teaches and helps develop students with various types of disabilities.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Recently, the bowl game announced its selections for the 2025 edition of the bowl. We will take a look at the running backs who were selected for the game. Despite defenses knowing that he is the guy that has to be stopped, Garrett, time and time again, has produced multiple 100+ yard games on the ground. McCombs' speed in the open field is impressive - he simply doesn't get caught from behind, and his decisiveness in his cuts allows him to pick up maximum yardage on each carry. Ever since his sophomore season, Jayden has been one of the best running backs in the state. He's battled through some injury issues this season, but has come back strong in the past couple of weeks, and this past week, the Patriots played their most complete game of the season, blowing out a Chambers team that has played tough against everyone they faced previously. Damonte has excellent speed, and he uses that to get into open spaces for a couple of big plays per game. Even more so this year than last, due to some supporting cast changes around him. Despite being the #1 threat offensively, Mason has still found ways to consistently produce for his team. Mason is a strong runner who has good speed once he gets into the open field.
