Daxter does a little bit of everything for the Pirates. You could even classify him as a three-way player since he plays on kickoff and races down the field to blow up the returner. On offense, he is capable of gaining 20+ yards on any given touch. If that is out of the backfield or in the pass game Daxter will either break a tackle or use his underrated speed to run for extra yards. Defensively, he can read the play and shoot like a missile to blow the ball carrier. He also has the athleticism to cover downfield. Daxter is an emerging junior standout for a loaded Grantsburg squad.

Zach is an x-factor for New Berlin West. The 3 sports standout contributors on the gridiron in a plethora of ways. On offense, he is a mismatch nightmare in the passing game. Standing at 6 ‘4 Zach wins just about every jump ball thrown his way and he bullies smaller defensive backs. Defensively, he is a turnover machine who always seems to be around the ball. In the first two weeks of the season, he already has 2 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery. Zach's potential is through the roof, and the junior is well on his way to an incredible season for the Vikings.

Camden is an extremely sound and sturdy football player. The way he pursues ball carriers as a linebacker is quite impressive. The angles he takes are direct and when his tackles are smothering and violent. On offense, Camden is an intense runner, and, on many instances, multiple defenders are needed to bring him down. He has deceptive speed and runs off of his blockers well. He sets the tone in all faucets on the game. Camden is an all-around dominant senior for a good Sparta squad.

I couldn't write this list without mentioning Dalton. On defense, he is lockdown free raging safety. Dalton already notched multiple interceptions this year while providing stingy coverage on opposing receivers. I'm not sure which side of the ball he is better at because as a wide receiver he is the go-to option for his quarterback. Dalton runs precise routes and is a reception machine for Oshkosh North. There is not much to dislike about Dalton. He is a complete player and is off to a spectacular start to his senior season.

Bryce is an underrated star for a surging Weyauwega-Fremont squad. He has put up staggering numbers on offense and defense. Lining up at wide receiver, Bryce has put up 11 receptions for 165 yards and two touchdowns in the first 2 games. Standing at 6 ‘2, he is a big target who high points jumpballs while also running polished routes. On defense he leads the team with 16 tackles and has a nose for the football. Bryce is an under the radar 2026 standout who is off to an excellent start this season

Ethan makes plays. Simple as that. He is a weapon on offense who lines up as a receiver and even at wildcat QB. Northwestern is creative in the way they get him the ball as he is explosive right off of the snap. On defense, Ethan is a downhill safety who uses his speed and quickness to generate TFLs. He is a very skilled safety as he has already tallied 13.5 total tackles and 4 TFLs this season. Ethan is a difference maker for one of the top teams in Division 5.

Owen is a sophomore phenom for Waupun. Standing at 6 ‘3 and weighing 220 pounds he is a physically gifted athlete. On defense he uses that frame to cause mayhem for opposing offenses. He sets the edge well and wrecks the run game. In 2 games, Owen has had an insane defensive stat line of 26 tackles, 4 TFLs, and 1 pick six. Offensively, his size creates problems for defenses, and he is a huge threat on 3rd and 4th down. Owen is a freak athlete, and his potential is through the roof. I can't wait to see him progress for the next 3 years.

Chace is a man on a mission in the trenches. Offensively he is persistent at the point of attack. Every single play he attacks the defense and when he latches on, he drives the defender until the whistle blows. On defense, Chace is so quick off the ball and shoots between the offensive lineman to blow up the runner. Even when he is double teamed, he still distributes the play and he will swarm to the ball when he sheds the block. Chace is a gifted two-way lineman who goes all out on every play. His impact is more than just the stat sheet.

Lucas's vision makes an impact on both sides of the ball. On offense, he is often used in the screen game where he can read his blocks and find open grass to show off his speed. He can run sideline to sideline in an instant. On defense, Lucas is a ballhawk in the secondary and is not afraid to stick his nose up at the LOS in the run game. He got to show off his speed and vision in week 1 after he returned an interception 102 yards for a touchdown. The junior is a name to watch for the next two years.

Footballs always seem to end up in Lauden's hands. He is a turnover machine on defense already accumulating 3 interceptions this season after recording 7 last year. Lauden is often left on an island as a cornerback but always stands his ground. As a tackler he is so quick when shooting up to stop the ball carrier. On offense, Lauden stretches the field with his speed and has soft hands. After an unbelievable year last year, Lauden is off to a racing start, and I can't wait to see what he does this season.
