of Lourdes Academy. Every time Lucas touches the ball there is a threat to score. He is so elusive, explosive, and lightning quick through traffic. Plus is top end speed in the open field leaps off the tape, especially compared to the small school competition he faces. Lucas is a mismatch with his speed stretching the field or with his route running underneath. If that isn’t enough the super athletic WR is also a fantastic returner. 2026 is lining up to be a big year for Lucas and Lourdes Academy overall.

It was great to see Lucas flying around the field live. The junior was a constant winner in the offseason at camps, so watching it translate was great to verify. Lucas sparked some huge moments for LA. He set up the tying TD with a deep reception showing off the speed, hands, and ball tracking. He also did really well turning some quick catches into chunk plays thanks to his vision, agility, and that second gear in space. It was also great to see the junior flying around on defense at CB providing tight coverage and also showing that he will come downhill to make tackles. The 2027 playmaker is heading into a big offseason and summer. Very excited to cover it!

. I crossed paths with him a few times on the camp circuit, and by the end of every camp Lucas was leaving as one of the top testers of the day. Numbers like an eclipsing 35″ in the vertical 4 times at one camp. Or running elite L-Drills like a 7.09 at the Lake Show. Lucas also ran in the 4.5-4.6 range throughout the summer rounding out a picture of an athlete who can dominate with quickness or long speed. The 2027 was able to get some run on varsity as a sophomore, but I have high hopes for a breakout junior season. He is well worth having on your radars as the season gets rolling.

. I started my day at the vertical jump, and Lucas was in the first group to perform. His 36.7″ vertical was able to hold on to 4th place overall, along with his 7.09 L-Drill (4th best), and 31′ triple jump (7th best) Lucas was able to show that he is an agile and explosive athlete. It was great to see because on tape you can get a sense that Lucas wins with his route running ability. Lourdes Academy utilized him on a ton of short yardage routes and let him create that instant space and then make people miss after the catch. The athleticism matches the tape, and looks like he could be even more explosive in 2025. I’m very excited to watch Lucas continue to make his mark at LA. It was a great day for him, especially knowing that he is coming off a knee injury.
