Stats: 3 Receptions, 81 Yards
The Dordt commit didn’t have a ton of touches in the game, but the senior was still able to supply the team with some huge plays. Plays that swung some momentum in their favor. The senior is a speedster that they utilize out wide or in the wildcat. Out wide the playmaker has repeatedly shown outstanding abilities to find and adjust to the ball and put himself in position to secure the catch and protect it from the DB. Also give himself a chance to run right after the catch. That speed was an advantage for Northwestern all season long and will be a nice weapon on the Dordt roster in the future.

Ethan is another senior that we have recently covered, but he is back for another mention because he too set a school record with 4 receiving TDs for Northwestern. Watching the highlights from the week is a fun experience! The senior is a cheat code at WR. His speed opens up everything short-intermediate because teams give him a large cushion. Unfortunately for defenses, when you give this kid an inch he can make you miss or beat your angles and create the massive plays he did in Week 5. Ethan is a gifted playmaker. Speed, hands, elusive in space, and a kid that can run through DB contact and tackle attempts with ease. College programs need to check out this kid.

Ethan actually dominated in all three phases of the game on Friday night, but we will focus on his play on offense. Dynamic is a great word for describing Ethan on offense. You will find him out wide at receiver or taking snaps at QB. At QB the senior dominates on the ground. He has that explosive burst to win in tight spaces. The senior is one of the fastest players in northern WI and it shows as he beats angles and is also able to open up separation from DBs on his deeper routes. Ethan is such a versatile weapon that is proving on a weekly basis that he will be a steal for a program in the near future.
