All across the Charlotte Metro Area & beyond in Week 4, there were big-time offensive performances, and we're going to highlight them here with a bit of commentary tacked on as well for select players. Please make sure you are sharing your performances with me via Twitter/X @pepman704, especially if you are in the Charlotte Metro Area, to be considered for inclusion! We will have this series all year long on Prep Redzone North Carolina, and we will recognize everyone – including linemen! Stats and film will help a TON when being evaluated for inclusion! All right, let's get started.

Ryder Polston - Ballantyne Ridge - 4 Total Touchdowns - 2 Passing, 2 Rushing - 220 Passing Yards In 1st ever school win! - The Wolves picked up their first win in school history over Garinger, 49-14, and Polston has been the only quarterback the Wolves have known so far. He has shown exponential improvement since starting as a freshman last season, and he's grown physically and is playing with a lot of confidence. The Wolves have a chance to pick up even more victories this season, too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1321106' first='Kelson' last='Tate'] - Weddington - 3 Total Touchdowns - 2 Receiving, 1 Rushing in victory over Crest - [player_tooltip player_id='1321106' first='Kelson' last='Tate'] had a huge game as the Warriors are now back to the team we know week in and week out, with a dominant performance against a championship contender at the 5A level in Crest. Kelson will also have [player_tooltip player_id='1157260' first='KD' last='Cotton'] joining him soon on the field, as Weddington looks like a strong championship contender at the 7A level.

Raivon Pauling - South Mecklenburg - 2 Rushing Touchdowns in overtime victory over Ardrey Kell

Xzavier Edmond - Mallard Creek - 140 Rushing Yards and 2 Touchdowns in victory over Myers Park - The Mavericks got behind their big offensive line and ran for over 200 yards as a team in delivering Myers Park their first loss on the season. The sophomore showed both strength and speed in his big game, and it was only a matter of time before Xzavier broke out and became the player we knew he could become.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369343' first='Garrett' last='Nowlan'] - Charlotte Catholic - 184 Rushing Yards and 2 Touchdowns in victory over Kings Mountain

Hopewell Titans Offensive Line - Powered the Rushing Attack to 359 Yards on 20 Carries in victory over Rocky River - Looking at film of this game, this was an absolutely dominant performance up front for this group - there were able to get to the 2nd and even 3rd level at times of the defense, some impressive execution and winning of their blocks in 1 on 1 situations.

Zac Jones - Hopewell - 9 Carries For 215 Yards and 3 Touchdowns in victory over Rocky River

[player_tooltip player_id='1607789' first='Cayden' last='Rumph'] - South Point - 167 Rushing Yards and 3 Touchdowns in victory over Mount Pleasant - Cayden stepped in for Red Raiders star QB [player_tooltip player_id='1277021' first='Patrick' last='Blee'], who was out due to injury, and ran the Redbone option to perfection in this one.

Malachi Gwyn - Southlake Christian - 231 Rushing Yards and 3 Touchdowns vs. Lincoln Charter - After transferring to a private school in Southlake midseason, Malachi stepped up and had a huge game in nearly getting the Eagles a victory. Malachi came over from Mooresville High School.

Evan Hodges - Richmond County - 371 Passing Yards and 5 Touchdowns in victory over NW Guilford

[player_tooltip player_id='483642' first='Immanuel' last='Collins'] - Shelby - 2 Receiving Touchdowns in victory over West Lincoln, 2 Returns for TD Called Back

[player_tooltip player_id='1149032' first='Marcus' last='Sales'] - Cannon - 9 Catches 113 Yards, Touchdown, 5 Tackles & Forced Fumble in victory over Northwood Academy - Marcus is starring on both sides of the ball for the Cougars this season and is having some impressive production overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1602777' first='Josh' last='Terry'] - Statesville - Has graded out as the Greyhounds' best offensive lineman in an undefeated start to the season - Joshua has shown very good mobility on short and long pulls in the running game, and has been stout and strong against defensive tackles in pass protection from his guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1614066' first='Jaydin' last='Phillips'] - Forestview - Excellent run blocking and aggressiveness/effort in victory over Lake Norman Charter - Jaydin is blocking consistently to the echo of the whistle, especially in the running game, and has the Jaguars off to a solid 2-2 start to the season as they look much better overall than last season as a team in Gastonia.

Chris Peavy - Providence Day - Excellent overall blocking in victory over Butler, grading out at 93%

Antonino Perez - Piedmont - Graded out at 88 percent and had a pancake block vs. Montgomery Central

Clee Phillips - Stuart Cramer - 3 Touchdown Passes in victory over Bessemer City - Clee has come over from Ashbrook High School and done an overall great job as a dual-threat quarterback in leading the Storm to an impressive 4-0 start to this football season. They are probably the 3rd best team currently in Gaston County.

[player_tooltip player_id='1328747' first='Lex' last='Sevilla'] - Middle Creek - 327 Passing Yards and 6 Touchdowns in victory over Eastern Wayne

De'jon Douglas - Charlotte Latin - 203 Rushing Yards and 3 Touchdowns in victory over Metrolina Christian - This was an under-the-radar transfer from Butler, but De'jon has come in and given the Hawks offense some balance with [player_tooltip player_id='1308876' first='Troy' last='Logan']'s passing, and they look like they can be a threat in the NCISSA with an undefeated record so far this season.

Darryl Loatman - Fike - 11 Catches, 177 Receiving Yards, Touchdown vs. Ashley

[player_tooltip player_id='1169882' first='Zach' last='Cullen'] - Sun Valley - 188 Rushing Yards and 2 Touchdowns in victory over Monroe - Zach had his biggest rushing yardage game so far this season, and the Spartans are starting to look like the 6A State Championship we projected at the beginning of the season, with two wins in a row now.

[player_tooltip player_id='378966' first='Savion' last='Lindsay'] - Ashbrook - 142 Rushing Yards and 2 Touchdowns in victory over Marvin Ridge

[player_tooltip player_id='1607779' first='Jaxon' last='Dollar'] - East Lincoln - 6 Catches, 241 Receiving Yards, and 4 Touchdowns in victory over Bandys - The highly touted TE/WR prospect continues a strong start to the season along with his QB [player_tooltip player_id='1671861' first='Grant' last='Lawless'] as the Mustangs continue to produce impressive statistical numbers week in and week out as a 5A Classification State Contender.
