2026 Rankings: New Faces

Who are some new names to make the rankings? Let's dive in    Tevita is an excellent prospect and a hybrid defender. He plays the STAR position, where he can roam presnap and be put in a position to win. He's a physical player with a good frame; he should be able to fill out to about 220 lbs without limiting his skill set. He shows good instincts, has a good burst, and is an overall playmaker. He is best when he can advance his positioning and be in attack mode. He has good ball skills to drop back in coverage if needed, but reading, reacting, and moving sideline to sideline is where he is at his best.     Tyler won the job over an offseason camp battle, and he is a dual-threat quarterback. The threat to move the chains with his legs allows passing lanes to develop as the backers tend to sink in when he moves around in the pocket. He's done a good job of keeping his head up while scrambling and looking for a breakdown from the secondary. He's done well in keeping the ball out of danger and keeping the offense moving.     Murphy has been a constant in the Lehi secondary, and he shows good instincts and range. He has good tracking skills and has the hip fluidity and moves well overall to close ground.     Kelton has been an excellent defender for Weber and is a player who has been one of the keys on defense. He is quick off the line, has violent hands, and moves well overall. He's got a good closing spee,d and he's been a player that can bring pressure on a consistent basis.     Landon is a two-sport athlete and is a player with great traits. He has a good frame and overall size to continue to grow into and add to his frame. He is a physical player who is a willing blocker and is a complete tight end, who can go out and run routes, and he displays good hands and athletic skills. He's got a lot of tools to like and a continuing ascending prospect with a lot to like.     Max has been used all over to fill the gaps in the Orem offense. He's been used as a running back, in the slot, in the boundary, as a key blocker, and whatever else they need. Max is athletic enough to do it. His home is as a receiver, but he has the contact balance and vision to be a running back. He's been an excellent chess piece this season.     Carter has done an excellent job this year. He's got a quick delivery with good processing skills. He keeps the ball out of danger and has good ball placement. He shows good pocket movement and can extend plays with his legs.     Phil is a quarterback who will stress a defense and take deep shots. He has a good processing rate and is a signal caller who will keep the ball out of danger.     Lael is a receiver who wins at all three levels and has good footwork and overall speed. He's an athletic receiver and is strong at the catch point. He is best as a boundary receiver and does well creating after the catch.    That was our first look at some new names that made the rankings.
