On offense, he made several splash plays down the field and finished with several touchdowns. He showed good separation and looks like he'll be the top target for the offense. Defensively, he was in good position all night long and made plays to break up passes. If Carter can keep up this level of play throughout the season, he'll be a top prospect in all of Ohio.

Eglitis showed his potential tonight. He did a great job at picking up several reads in pass protection. Showed a good anchor and was relatively unbeatable off the edge. Pete got great push in the run game, and created several holes that resulted in big rushes.

Boyle continues to wreck offensive game plans despite his size. He did everything for the offense. The drop-back passing game, play-action passing game, and rushing were all utilized to get Watterson back into the game. He completed several passes of 50 yards or more downfield with accuracy, and worked the boundary well. I liked what I seen from Drew tonight.

McCoy took over the starting rushing spot and did a great job tonight. He caught the touchdown to put Big Walnut up 14-0 and created separation on an inbreaking route to score. Brody will continue to be an important player for Big Walnut down the line.
