West Rowan Falcons

The Falcons were the first team on-site for Media Day, and there's a lot of positive momentum being said from area coaches and fans about this program. In talking with Head Coach Louis Kraft, he acknowledges the words; however, he says his team still has to do the work and make sure they follow through on taking things one day at a time. Linebacker Kaden Sanders has had a strong offseason, Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1672011' first='Brant' last='Graham'] is expected to really shine this year, and left tackle Max Kalinowski is a strong leader on the offensive line. Check out what Falcons Head Coach Louis Kraft had to say in full below. Player interviews can be found on my Twitter profile https://x.com/pepman704/media .

Salisbury Hornets

The Hornets have traditionally been the best team in Rowan County, but Head Coach Clayton Trivett acknowledges this year's team will look a little different than past teams, namely because of numbers and depth, but he and his coaching staff are excited for the challenge. Trivett stated that having new kids step up into key positions and succeed is a satisfying thing, and they are eager to develop those kids. Coming with Coach Trivett was ATH Jay'lin Johnson, who will be all over the field, especially on offense. OL/DL Malik Williams will be an important piece of the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, and DB/RB Ephraim Williams will be important to their success. Check out what Coach Trivett said in full below.

Southlake Christian Eagles

The Eagles will have a different look this season, with new Head Coach Caleb Hughes taking the reins. Coach Hughes shared that the Eagles will employ an Air Raid style of offense, stating that he has a good quarterback and some talented receivers to get the football to. Coming with Coach Hughes to the Media Day were quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1321016' first='Cameron' last='Gandy'], offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1671904' first='Hunter' last='Tedder'] (who had a great interview), LB/RB Jimmy Lapelusa, and Defensive Back Luke Conenna. Check out what Coach Hughes shared in full below.

Cox Mill Chargers

The Chargers, led by Head Coach Breon Holmes, had a strong message when asked about their team this upcoming season. Coach Holmes stated that he's glad he has guys that are playing for the name on the front of the jersey, and not on the back. It's no secret the Chargers had some player movement this offseason, so this year's bunch may have a different tenor this season. Coming with Coach Holmes to Media Day were linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1396561' first='Jacob' last='Moore'], linebacker Michael Mazzoni, and tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1449604' first='Gavin' last='Ramirez'].

AL Brown Wonders

Led by Head Coach Justin Hardin, the Wonders are expected to contend for a conference title this upcoming season, and Hardin feels good about the players he has back in the fold. Specifically, I asked Hardin about his JV team who played very well last season, and he shared that the same group was 0-8 in middle school together, so he's very excited about their development and winning culture that they have been building. In his third year now, Hardin said he has brought in 4 new coaches on his staff, and he feels better about his team overall. Check out what Coach Hardin had to say in full below.

JM Robinson Bulldogs

Led by Head Coach Jason Seidel, the Bulldogs are a younger team this season, but Seidel says their development has been rapid already from where they were in the spring to where they are now overall. Seidel is excited about the four players that came with him to media day as well, sharing that they are going to be leaders of the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Seidel also likes his running game, led by [player_tooltip player_id='1332096' first='LJ' last='Watson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1176263' first='Ennis' last='Stiles']. Also coming with Seidel were Elon commit, offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1301238' first='Elijah' last='Shoe'] who goes by "Bubba". On the defensive side, defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1368141' first='Cameron' last='Tucker'] was also in attendance for the Bulldogs. Check out what Coach Seidel had to say in full below.
