These 5 WR’s in the updated 2027 rankings have something to prove

He remains a mystery on film because there's not much online to go on (outside of a few clips on his X account (formerly Twitter)). He also has an offer from Towson.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>What I'm looking to see from him this upcoming season: </strong>What makes the fact that he currently has two Division I offers impressive is that he has limited highlights from his sophomore year. He has shown enough potential to warrant those offers. Turpin lines up at both wide receiver and safety for his team and is also on special teams. What I want to see from him is for him to take that next step and show more of what he's capable of doing on the field this upcoming season. He was one of the top performers, thanks to his quickness in and out of his routes, along with his speed, which separated him from the rest. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700"><strong>What I'm looking to see from him this upcoming season: </strong>Brown plays one of the most talented teams in the nation. St. Frances Academy practices are probably better than most high school games. They also play one of the most demanding schedules in the country. Brown is battle-tested in honing his craft against some of the best players in the nation. He does have the ability to make the big catch downfield as well. I also like him as a go-to red-zone target. He's fluid getting off the line and knows how to work himself open across the field. I think Alt runs crisp routes and has good hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>What I'm looking to see from him this upcoming season: </strong>I'd like to know if he's improved his overall speed. Is he more explosive coming off the line of scrimmage? Can he turn short passes into significant gains? He already has the size. The question is how much he has added to his toolbox this offseason? There are a couple of plays where he makes contested catches across the middle. He's a versatile receiver who can make plays from the x, y, and z positions. Brown is also an effective blocker in the run game. He is a reliable target for short-to-medium routes.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>What I'm looking to see from him this upcoming season:</strong> My observation is based on his end-of-season highlights, which were released in mid-November. From the looks of it, he's improved and shown enough to earn four Division I offers since then. One thing I will stand on is wanting to see even more explosive plays in his film. Granted, that's not totally up to him as far as how the passes are delivered to him.
