A nice size athlete, Charlie look to take the leap to big time contributor for Oakdale after a breakout sophomore season. Mainly used at WR last year, he is also capable of being a standout player on the D as a DB. He offer a nice vertical threat option for Alex, as Charlie is a capable of getting over the top of defenses and using his size & strong hands to make the play. A crisp route runner as well, able to get open and be a reliable WR, it’s no surprise he is a favorite target for his QB. Charlie should become a top player in the area this fall and be a key piece to Oakdale’s success.

It’s safe to say that Alt’s strong suit is being that sure target in the short-to-intermediate passing range that his quarterback can depend on. He does have the ability to make the big catch downfield as well. I also like him as a go-to red-zone target. He’s fluid getting off the line and knows how to work himself open across the field. I think Alt runs crisp routes and has good hands.
What I’m looking to see from him this upcoming season: I’d like to know if he’s improved his overall speed. Is he more explosive coming off the line of scrimmage? Can he turn short passes into significant gains? He already has the size. The question is how much he has added to his toolbox this offseason? We shall soon find out.

Charlie is a player I first got eyes on at the beginning of the season when Oakdale took on Milford Mill, and he stood out to be right away in warm-ups.
A great body player, all of 6’1+ and a frame that seems to be filling out and getting bigger each time I see him. Charlies passes the eye ball test as a sophomore no doubt. A powerful runner, he eats up grass with his stride and can stick his foot in the ground to stem his routes and make cuts. He has good speed and burst as well, can stretch the field vertically and track the ball for the big catch. Charlie showed strong hands at the event, being able to pluck the ball out the air. His frame, strength and ability to put his body in-between the DB and the pass makes its very difficult for the defense to break up passes / get to the ball. Alt plays S/LB int he defensive side as well and could see him continuing to make an impact on that side of the ball as well in the future.
A 2027 prospect that is poised to blow up and become big time recruit in the area. I expect a strong spring & summer camp season out of Charlie and see his recruitment heat up as more coaches get eyes on him.
