Beaver did a good job of setting the edge for Oakdale’s defense last season. As a pass-rusher, I like the closing burst that he shows after getting past the offensive tackle. Relies on his quickness as a pass-rusher. Against the run, he certainly holds his ground and, at the very least, neutralizes the offensive tackle. Blue-collar type player.

Graden Beaver is a defensive end who brings energy and versatility. He plays fast off the edge and shows strong instincts against the run. A few of his highlights show him crashing down hard, reading pullers quickly, and making stops behind the line of scrimmage. He’s doing this without being touched on a few of these plays.
As a pass rusher, Beaver flashes quickness and effort. He uses hesitation and swim moves to beat blockers and finishes with sacks when quarterbacks try to step up. Beaver includes a punt block on his highlights, showing he can be valuable on special teams, too. Beaver’s motor and versatility stand out. I’d like to see a few more plays where he’s showing more pass-rush moves.
