With the end of the 2026 season coming to a close, I will be taking a first look at some of the Class of 2027 prospects currently ranked. Most of these prospects have more highlights available for evaluation and this is a good time to take a look at them before the next rankings update.

This is Part 3.

Graden Beaver is a defensive end who brings energy and versatility. He plays fast off the edge and shows strong instincts against the run. A few of his highlights show him crashing down hard, reading pullers quickly, and making stops behind the line of scrimmage. He's doing this without being touched on a few of these plays.

As a pass rusher, Beaver flashes quickness and effort. He uses hesitation and swim moves to beat blockers and finishes with sacks when quarterbacks try to step up. Beaver includes a punt block on his highlights, showing he can be valuable on special teams, too. Beaver's motor and versatility stand out. I'd like to see a few more plays where he's showing more pass-rush moves.

Frisby is a wide receiver who brings speed, awareness, and big-play ability to the perimeter. Lined up primarily at Z but also showing versatility at X, he consistently threatens defenses vertically. He tracks the ball well downfield. There's a play on Frisby's highlights where he adjusted to an overthrown pass and finished with a diving catch for a 40-plus yard gain. He's a smooth, long-striding runner who gets behind coverage on posts and go routes. Frisby does a nice job of selling inside stems before breaking back outside for explosive plays. He also contributes in the short game, where he routinely catches slants and wide receiver screens and gets that YAC. Frisby will need to add more strength to his frame. His speed, ball tracking, and field awareness make him a consistent downfield threat.

Williams is a defensive tackle who plays with strength, effort, and a physical mindset at the point of attack. From the opening play on his highlights, he shows heavy hands and strong initial pop. Williams consistently knocks offensive linemen backward and creates disruption in both the run and pass game. He routinely wins with his punch, walking guards back into the pocket and collapsing space. There's a rep where he drives the blocker directly into the quarterback to help finish a sack.

Against the run, Williams is tough and reliable inside. He holds his ground, sheds blocks quickly, and attacks downhill once he diagnoses the play. There are several highlights where Williams is making multiple stops at or behind the line of scrimmage. He flashes the ability to shoot gaps, split blockers, and close with bad intentions. Williams is definitely more than just a space eater.

Overall, Williams profiles as a strong interior run defender with the power and motor to impact the pocket. He should be encouraged to add some counter moves as a pass rusher to make himself even more dangerous.

During the 2025 season, Miller totaled 800 receiving yards, 16 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, showing his value as a true two-way playmaker.

Offensively, Miller lines up at both X and Z and consistently wins downfield. He tracks the ball well, plays through contact, and shows strong concentration. This is especially true in the red zone and along the sideline. Miller is a smooth, long-striding runner who catches the ball in stride. He can turn slants, go routes, and post-corner patterns into explosive plays. I think that Miller's size and body control make him a reliable target in traffic.

He can probably add more short-area route work to his film (quick outs, stop routes) to show suddenness at the top of the route. That being said, 16 touchdowns in a season definitely prove he's a playmaker.

Scott is an undersized middle linebacker who plays with strong instincts and confidence on defense. There are a couple of plays where he shows great awareness in pass coverage. In both instances, he reads the quarterback's eyes and jumps the passing lane for two interceptions. Against the run, time and time again, he is quick to diagnose the play and put himself in the right position. Scott is decisive and aggressive. He fills gaps quickly and ends up meeting ball carriers in the backfield for tackles for a loss. I also have to add that his timing as a blizter stands out. He consistently hits the line of scrimmage right at the snap and shuts down plays before they develop. His only issue from a recruiting standpoint: size. Gotta give him credit though. Scott is just a football player who gets the job done

With the end of the 2026 season coming to a close, I will be taking a first look at some of the Class of 2027 prospects currently ranked. Most of these prospects have more highlights available for evaluation and this is a good time to take a look at them before the next rankings update.
