MD/DC/DE Weekly Recruiting Wrap-Up: 2027 Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I take a look at recent recruiting news in the 2027 class from this past week. Including one big commitment and plenty of first offers. We are zeroing in on the spring open period where things will start to heat up for lots of prospects. Brock makes it the 2nd MD DL commit to Vtech in the recent weeks. Frisby also held offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati, Nebraska, WVU, Rutgers and more. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Vtech is getting an athletic great body prospect who passes the eye ball test. Brock is explosive out of his stance, runs on his toes, with nice hips and quick COD. He can long arm blockers, stack &amp; shed and get to the ball. A prospect who is sure to rise this spring as he continues to improve his game and more college coaches get eyes on him. He's got excellent size and can play OT, OG and shows well at DT as well. Solid athlete who once he gets up to speed he brings a lot of force. Still needs to improve his frame some and turn into into strength. However, with his size and power Josiah will continue to be in the scholarship conversation at the FCS / FBS level. The 3# ranked TE and a top 100 player in the state picked up 5 offers recently. Coming from Georgetown, Columbia, Bucknell, Fordham &amp; Lafayette. A player I have been high on for the last year. Reed is a versatile do it all TE with a great size, frame, and athleticism. Fluid and tough with strong hands and good ball skills. As you can tell from his offers he is also a high academic prospect, and getting interest from Harvard, Yale as well as other Ivy's &amp; the Academies. He adds that to his Monmouth offer his picked up earlier in the winter. A sure to be ranking's riser DL prospect who is a verified 6'4" 280lbs and 81" Wingspan. Michael has big time size and length to go with his quick feet and active hands. Michael is both explosive and powerful, able to win at the LOS multiple ways. Coming in one spot out side the top 100 in the winter rankings, Nisaiah is a player who needs to be on more colleges radar. A safety with nice size and length, he can play over the top or in the box. Will come down, run the alley and deliver a strong tackle. He has a knack for throwing hit body around and separating ball from player. Nisaiah shows good instincts and break on the play ability. He is a versatile safety that should have more offers at this stage in my mind. A player I have seen multiple times this past fall, Oladipo passes the eye ball test with ease. Nice frame kid with good length and will bulk up to 230+ easily over time. He showcases good bend/flexibility....natural knee bender. Ola flashes a nice motor, will pursue and chase down the ball. Uses his length well to get his hands on the ballcarrier and is a strong tackler. Look for Oladipo to have a big spring season as he gets out to showcases and more colleges get eyes on him live.
