Recent Recruiting News: Offers and Commitments

A big long lean build player, he is the type of athletic OL player the Air Force like to get to mold into their style. With good bend and pop off the line, he is quick to get his feet moving and pull or get out in space. A heavy weight wrestler, Mason shows great leverage and power from his hips. A high academic kid as well, Mason fits the mold for the Air Force both on &amp; off the field. One of my top guys in the 2029 class that I got eyes on for his first varsity game this past fall, it is no surprise to me that so many P4 schools are coveting him as a prospect. Over just the last few days Anton has picked up offers from Marshall, WVU, Notre Dame and South Carolina. That brings his total to 8 offers, and five coming from Power 4 schools. A more than deserving offer, he has a lot to offer as a versatile DB, able to play CB or S. Nyjae has excellent length which fits the mold of todays DB. He also has fast twitch hips, able to turn &amp; run with WRs without losing a step. Nyjae also shows great instincts in attacking the pass. Able to see it and quickly trigger on the ball. Displays excellent ball skills as well, planting and bursting on it for PBUs &amp; INTs. Always finding himself around the ball. Overall Nyjae is a fluid, quick, explosive athlete that shows up in his ability to be a playmaker in the return game as well. A big get for the Badgers, DJ is a do it all playmaker on both sides of the ball. On offense he can play outside of the slot, as well as be used in jet sweep/gadget plays. He has the speed and fluidity in his game to score from anywhere on the field. On Defense, he again has great versatility able to play either S spot, CB, and in the slot. DJ plays fast and physical and makes plays on the ball. Not positive where Wiscy plans on lining DJ up but don't be surprised if they try him in multiple spots/roles. A player I liked a lot back in the fall, he continues to stand out and shoot up boards. Recently he picked up offers from UVA, Gtech, UMD, Northwestern as well as being at Indiana for their Spring Game. James has all the physical tools you like to see from a TE. Great size, physical, strong, and athletic. I recently saw James at the PRZ PA 7v7 where he was unguard-able at times. Working the middle of the field and uses his big frame and leaping ability to go up and moss defenders time and time again.
