Farrell has established himself this offseason as one of the most promising upcoming prospects in the state, holding offers from Kentucky, Washington, Oregon State, Arizona, and Minnesota. He sizes up with a slender build at 6'5" 175lbs with room to add mass. The lefty delivers with a quick, snappy release and has that immediate zip/velocity as soon as it leaves his hand, in which he frequently showed the ability to hit throws in tight windows or throw an excellent 2-ball. A natural arm talent as he can also hit those deep downfield vertical throws with excellent touch, timing and placement, throw off platform, and throw with different arm angles. A very impressive, fast rising/developing prospect that should light up the state here this fall.

Snyder is another fast rising and fast developing kid, as he put together a really impressive sophomore season a year ago throwing for over 2,100 yards and 17 TD's. He's one of the most smooth, effortless passers in the state and shows the ability to throw receivers open. He put together a spring tape as well where looked dialed in and threw with excellent timing and accuracy. Smooth throwing motion with good torque on those deeper outs/flood concepts to get that extra velo on the ball and will put it only where his receivers can get it. Snyder currently holds 21 offers thus far and will be a highly followed prospect for the next two seasons.

I really like Mencl as the 6A breakout player of the year candidate. He holds the QB1 role with an new HC in Ty Wisdom, where I think Mencl is prone to put up big numbers in a new system along with his natural skillset. Really good pocket mechanics and movement and can climb, slide, or escape without sacrificing his eyes downfield. I really like his ability to throw with anticipation and timing, as he did a terrific job at all three levels of throws doing so last year. A mechanically sound QB with loads of potential and high ceiling moving forward.

DeWitt put together some very impressive tape last season and enters his senior year with something to prove. He possesses an impressive presence and poise in the pocket while going through progression and is extremely fluid from his feet to torso to his delivery- frequently looking and seeming in rhythm. He shows a lightning quick release with the ability to hit all 3 levels of throws and the knowledge of when to throw a 1, 2 or 3 ball. He recently committed to Idaho, and I truly think the Vandals landed an absolute steal with this kid.

Penrod's role at Cesar Chavez is much more than on the field, as he's a big reason as to why their building such a great culture over there. In his first year at Chavez in 2024 (played his freshman season at Camelback), Penrod led Chavez to a 7-3 regular season record and has officially drawn eyes across the state back to the program. He sizes up with a good frame at 6'3" 205lbs and possesses both competitive and physical toughness. He flashes a good understanding of coverages and does a good job getting the ball out with timing and placement to hit throws in soft sports vs various zone coverages, and throws an excellent deep ball as well. This could be a huge year for Penrod and Chavez.
