played like the kind of quarterback you build a program around, not just a stat-padder chasing numbers. He averaged over 200 yards a game this season, and the tape backs it up with how comfortable he looks operating the offense. He’s a tall, smooth passer who throws with touch and really impressive accuracy down the sideline, can drive intermediate routes into tight windows, and doesn’t panic when things get muddy in the pocket. You see full drives where he’s in complete command — working through progressions, taking what defenses give him, then ripping a big-time shot when coverage busts or the matchup is right. Even as a young guy, there’s real poise there; he’ll stand in against pressure, take the hit, and still drop a throw on a dig or seam. I’d like to see him start attacking the middle of the field a bit more and be a little more careful with how often he tries the deep shot, but there’s very clear improvement over last year and I’d expect the same thing from this year into next.

Farrell has established himself this offseason as one of the most promising upcoming prospects in the state, holding offers from Kentucky, Washington, Oregon State, Arizona, and Minnesota. He sizes up with a slender build at 6’5″ 175lbs with room to add mass. The lefty delivers with a quick, snappy release and has that immediate zip/velocity as soon as it leaves his hand, in which he frequently showed the ability to hit throws in tight windows or throw an excellent 2-ball. A natural arm talent as he can also hit those deep downfield vertical throws with excellent touch, timing and placement, throw off platform, and throw with different arm angles. A very impressive, fast rising/developing prospect that should light up the state here this fall.

Farrell is quickly establishing himself as a national recruit, pulling in seven P4 offers since the new year. 6’5” 180 lbs. he’s a gifted passer with plus arm strength and ball placement skills. The lefty has an accelerated release with good rotation in his hips and shoulders to drive the ball with velocity at the short/intermediate levels or push it vertically with touch. Smooth and fluid with his footwork throughout his drop back and when delivering, he’s balanced and under control as he scans the field. Highly confident in his ability to put the ball where he wants and make difficult throws from various platforms with accuracy. Shows he can make all the throws necessary and hit his spots at all three levels in tight windows and to the boundary. On the short list of top 2027 QB’s in the state.

HE sizes up with a slender frame and build at 6’5″ 180lbs with room to add mass. A southpaw with a natural arm talent with the ability to hit all 3 levels of throws with velocity or touch. Quick, snappy release as he truly looks like a raw talent. Farrell is rapidly rising up rankings and recruiting boards after a strong sophomore campaign. At 6’5” 180 lbs. he’s got a lean frame with length that has the ability to add weight as he develops. He’s got an accelerated release with good flexibility and rotation in his hips and shoulders to get added velocity on his throws. Shows he can be accurate throwing off various off balance throwing platforms and arm angles. He’s got good anticipation to mix up speeds and throw the necessary ball for it to be catchable. put on a show Friday night and is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young quarterbacks to watch. Completing 13 of his 19 passes for a jaw-dropping 312 yards and three touchdowns, Farrell picked apart the defense with a nearly 70% completion rate and averaged 24 yards a completion. His deep-ball accuracy was on full display all night and he consistently showcased the fluid motion and natural arm strength he flashed early in the year. Farrell’s been on a tear lately, growing more confident with each game and stepping up in big moments for his team. With his size, smooth mechanics, and pinpoint accuracy, this sophomore is putting together quite the year in his first season as the starter.

gets more and more comfortable in Corona del Sol’s offense, the coaching staff is becoming more willing to let him sling it around the field. Throwing the ball an average of 26 times a game through the last three games, he’s also pushing the ball down the field more. A tall lengthy quarterback with long arms, Farrell has no problem getting the ball over the top of the defense and has shown some impressive touch when doing so. It’s not just the deep ball that’s been doing the damage though, he’s a quarterback who’s willing to take what the defense gives him. Farrell has already established himself as a quarterback who can light up the stat sheet with a recent 376-yard four-touchdown performance.

was distributing to his playmakers all night for the Aztecs. Having 4 passing touchdowns on the night and over 250 passing yards, the young sophomore was methodical with his throws on each drive. His deep throw accuracy was very good, having plenty of velocity and touch to get it just where it needed to be for his receivers to make a play on it. He was able to maneuver and move well on the run from outside the pocket, dishing the ball out on the run and with good decision making. Farrell was great on offense and will undoubtedly be a quarterback to keep your eyes on in his young high school playing career.

throw at the PRZ Arizona Combine over the summer and was really impressed with his fluid motion and accuracy down the field. His first varsity action had him off to a hot start throwing for 217 yards and two touchdowns in a tough 52-44 loss to Casa Grande. He averaged 20 yards a completion on the day and really showcased the accuracy on his deep ball. Even though the offense went into a bit of a skid through the next three games — failing to score more than 14 points in any of them — Farrell still managed to impress as he continues to come into his own as both a passer and a leader. With good size and his long arms providing some natural arm strength, Farrell is a player I’m excited to follow closely as he works through the rest of his high school career.

was one of the standouts of the day, regardless of position, for me. With great length, he threw the ball downfield with ease. His smooth delivery created a really tight spiral and I thought he excelled when throwing the ball outside the numbers. Farrell is certainly confident in his arm and you could see him building off his good throws. There was a point where he had a couple of good throws in a row and a coach in attendance said something to him about it; he just gave a little smirk, stepped up, and delivered an even better ball up the sideline. At 6’3″ going into his sophomore season, Farrell is a player that coaches should be seriously watching.
