No longer waiting: VA's newly ranked 2026 prospects - Part 2

Thanks to the hard work of [player_tooltip player_id='1680749' first='Carl' last='Frederick'], a few dozen prospects who were on the waiting are now ranked in our updated 2026 high school football prospect rankings. Here's a look at five the players who went from the waiting list to ranked.    Hawley thrives in a quick game/RPO-heavy system, executing with timing and solid mechanics. His passing highlights emphasize short to intermediate accuracy, anticipation, and a calm presence in the pocket. Hawley may not flash elite velocity or off-platform creation, but he's a reliable decision-maker. He recently committed to Hampton University. He's a high-floor, development quarterback suited for offenses that emphasize quick reads, timing routes, and play-action/RPO elements. I'd like to see Mason take more intermediate-to-deep shots downfield this season that show up on film.     [player_tooltip player_id='853860' first='Konstantinos' last='Kovanes'] is a shifty, explosive back with strong contact balance and special teams value. His vision and instincts are impressive. He consistently identifies cutback lanes and reacts instantly. Kovanes rarely runs into trouble and his highlights show him making people miss in space. He plays with natural leverage, bounces off tackles, and runs with toughness beyond his size. Kovanes runs with attitude and power. I'd like to see if he's developed even more of a burst since the end of last season.     Stone is a physical, vertical-threat tight end with blocking consistency and big-play potential. He's a high-ceiling tight end who brings both a pass-catching mismatch and a committed, technically sound blocker. Stone's vertical ability and blocking motor make him a fit for pro-style or spread offenses that use tight ends in multiple alignments. With continued improvement as a route-runner and blocker, he could become a player who can stretch the field as a pass-catcher. I'd like to see if Stone will show more elusiveness after the catch and whether to not he'll be showcased running different types of route this upcoming season.     Tillman is a physical, compact lineman with strong interior blocking skills. He has a low center of gravity, which helps in leverage battles. Tillman lines up on the outside for his team, but he'll be better suited for the interior. He excels when run blocking in closed quarters and finishing defenders. Tillman isn't the biggest, but he can become a reliable and tough interior linemen if he gets a chance to play at the next level.   <blockquote class="twitter-tweet">On vacation, but still found some time to get some work! I think he reads plays, run and pass, extremely fast. Bundy reacts rapidly to movement and his physical at the point of attack. His closing speed enables him to shut down plays before they develop. With his frame and athletic profile, he's a good fit as a Will or Mike linebacker as the next level. He'll definitely need to add more mass to consistently go against bigger linemen at the next level. For now, Bundy excels as a high-ceiling linebacker with the instincts, range, and toughness that make him a difference maker.
