While other outlets have the fast-rising Dollar as a pure tight end, we still have him listed as an athlete. Why? He looked dominant at times on the defensive side of the ball and there could be a team or two that decides to recruit him as a linebacker. Still, dominant tight ends are hard to find and Dollar's elite ball skills and athleticism make him a rare prospect at a position that has become increasingly difficult to recruit. Dollar is also a standout basketball player (16 points, six rebounds per game) and the way he bangs around inside gives insight into his ability as a football player.

An extremely explosive athlete, the 6'2" Poku-Kankam is hovering on the edge of the Group of Five/Power Four level in terms of offers. We're higher on him though, convinced he's a future Power Four starter. Primarily a defensive back, the Providence Day star plays a ton of different positions on the defensive side of the ball, leaning more toward positionless weapon than a guy who is limited to one spot. I love that and think he could grow into a big slot corner or outside linebacker.

Cooper contributed in every phase of the game for Providence Day last season, returning kicks and punts, getting run in the backfield, and playing excellent defense as a safety. He's likely college-bound as a defensive back, but I'm not quite ready to move him to that position yet. Still, he's talented enough to make game-changing plays from multiple alignments and impacts the game in every phase.

We may need to move Freeman up at the next rankings update, as he's blown up on the recruiting trail in the two weeks since we released the spring rankings update. He's done his best damage at running back, but has flashed elite receiving skills as well. We may move him to running back at the next update, but either way, he's elusive and tough to bring down with the ball in his hands and looks bound for the Power Four level.

Carmack is getting plenty of Power Four looks as a big receiver, but he could grow into an in-line receiving tight end. He's as hot as anyone on the recruiting trail, earning multiple SEC offers in the last month. I'm interested to see how his body develops, but I love his athleticism and think he could have a bigger year from a statistics standpoint as a junior.

Gray is one of the best two-way players in the state, racking up 71 tackles on defense and adding five touchdowns on offense. Syracuse recently stepped in with his first Power Four offer, an early indication of his athleticism and upside. I'm not quite sure yet where he could play at the next level, but he's already made a huge impact for West Charlotte and could have an even bigger two-way year as a junior.
