Sincere’s real name is Jaciere, but everyone calls him Sincere – just for full clarity. Sincere had some early Division 1 offers from Marshall, Troy, and Syracuse – but things have been relatively quiet since then. I saw him live last season, and he had a great game against Mallard Creek. He was on his way to a big game in the playoffs before he had a minor injury, which slowed him down. But the burst and speed in the open field is special when Sincere has the football in his hands. It will be interesting to see how things shake out this upcoming season, but the talent is undeniable here.

We need to officially change his name in our database – but Jaciere, or “Sincere” as a lot of people call him, is a true talent at the RB position. I watched him live against a good Mallard Creek defense have some big runs for touchdowns. He’s a home-run hitter in the open field, and he’s got a nice combo of power and vision with the football in his hands. He was in a crowded backfield last season, so it will be interesting to see if he will get more touches this upcoming season.

Sincere was impressive from the start in this one, knifing through the Mustangs’ defense for multiple 10+ yard runs, but he didn’t get a ton of the workload once the game became out of reach for the Mustangs. Sincere has some electric speed and vision in the open field, and you kind of hold your breath when he gets the ball in his hands with some good momentum. For the game, Sincere finished with 8 carries for 92 yards and 1 touchdown run.

Even though we have Jaciere rated pretty highly, he is a bit under the radar with all of the talent the Lions have on their roster. Jaciere was over 100 yards rushing on the game, with the vast majority of his production on his 90 yard TD run in the 4th quarter. On the play, Jaciere really showed off his burst and overall speed as he knifed through the Mavericks defense to take it the distance. Jaciere has an offer from Syracuse, and if he continues to produce like this, he’s going to see much more come his way. I spoke with Jaciere after the game.

Gray is one of the best two-way players in the state, racking up 71 tackles on defense and adding five touchdowns on offense. Syracuse recently stepped in with his first Power Four offer, an early indication of his athleticism and upside. I’m not quite sure yet where he could play at the next level, but he’s already made a huge impact for West Charlotte and could have an even bigger two-way year as a junior.
