The Kentucky Future Stars failed to win a game against their rivals from Tennessee in this year's border war, but the 7th Grade Offensive Line did their part. They allowed for RB [player_tooltip player_id='1306246' first='Keilin' last='Warner'] to run for an MVP and for QB [player_tooltip player_id='1306237' first='Kal' last='Ridner'] to show off his hose of an arm. Obviously a loss is a loss and there are things that could have been done better to get the win, but the big guys up front did their part.

In my eyes, [player_tooltip player_id='1306180' first='Brady' last='Parker'] was the best Offensive Lineman on the 7th Grade Kentucky Future Stars team. Parker started at Left Tackle for Big Blue and just as he did all season long for his Northern Pulaski Middle School teammate, QB [player_tooltip player_id='1306237' first='Kal' last='Ridner'], he kept him clean and upright. Just before the game he announced his reclass to the 2031 class--which means the starting Left Tackle will have two years of middle school football left. That should terrify the rest of the state. I'm curious to see how tall he gets going forward, because it could dictate a move to the inside. However, that neither here nor there. The bottomline is that he was nothing short of elite in the game.

The starter at Right Tackle, opposite [player_tooltip player_id='1306180' first='Brady' last='Parker'] (listed above), was the enormous [player_tooltip player_id='1295318' first='Kellan' last='Newton']. The fact that Northern Pulaski has both these two as its starting Tackles all season long, just isn't fare. Newton was the biggest kid on the field and did a great job. With a 109° heat index during the games, Newton was subbed out a bit more regularly than the other starters, but at 6'5" and 320-pounds--that's to be expected.

Along [player_tooltip player_id='1295318' first='Kellan' last='Newton'] (listed above) on the right side of the 7th Grade Kentucky Future Stars Offensive Line, was starting Right Guard [player_tooltip player_id='1306428' first='Lucas' last='Tackett']. Tackett showed why he was named the KYMSFA Region 3 Player of the Year in this game against Kentucky. Very strong at the point of attack. Looked like a natural sitting in pass pro.

Additional Notable Offensive Linemen

[player_tooltip player_id='1688657' first='Tucker' last='Boroviak'] | Offensive Line - Center | North Laurel - The starter at Center for the 7th Grade Kentucky Future Stars. With that said, I loved the way he played. Worked up to the next level, blocked downfield and didn't stop moving.

[player_tooltip player_id='1689156' first='Ethan' last='Sparks'] | Offensive Line - Guard | Notre Dame - The back up Left Guard, Sparks provided a much needed spark (pun intended) for the second unit of the 7th Grade Kentucky Future Stars. Had no problem moving bodies with strong blocks on the scraping Linebackers.

The Kentucky Future Stars failed to win a game against their rivals from Tennessee in this year's border war, but the 7th Grade Offensive Line did their part.
