He demonstrated a clear understanding of defensive looks pre-snap, helping identify fronts and communicate adjustments effectively with both his quarterback and fellow linemen. His presence in the middle helped keep the offense organized and operating smoothly, especially in high-pressure situations.

Technically, Boroviak was sharp throughout the game. His snaps were consistent and accurate, and he transitioned quickly from the snap into his blocking assignments without hesitation. He did an excellent job protecting the interior, not allowing the defense to crash the middle or disrupt the pocket. His combination of awareness, communication, and execution made him a reliable anchor for the offensive line.

Look at the rosters of all the 8th Grade teams in this year’s KYMSFA BOTR, I feel Region 4 was the deepest and most complete team. However, sometimes that doesn’t guarantee victory. After lighting it up and causing a running clock in its 46-6 victory over Region 3 in the opening game, they ultimately fell to Region 2 in the championship game by the final of 26-24.

The starter at Center for Region 4, Boroviak showed off more athleticism than he has in pervious showings. He looked leaner too. He did a nice job of getting up to the second level to block Linebackers to open lanes for his Running Backs. In the championship game, Boroviak had a tall task ahead of him against Region 2’s stud defensive front but faired pretty well.

In addition to his mental strengths, Boroviak is technically sound in his physical execution. He delivers quick, consistent snaps and transitions efficiently into his blocking assignments. His ability to get from the snap to first contact helps maintain timing and rhythm in the offense. He plays with good discipline and technique, allowing him to stay engaged and effective throughout the play. Boroviak brings a dependable combination of intelligence, consistency, and execution to the center position.

One of the only a handful of true Interior Offensive Linemen on this team, look for Boroviak to be in contention for the starting Center position. Boroviak is up two inches and 25-pounds from last year at this time. Additionally, he has prior experience snapping to 7th Grade Kentucky Future Stars QB Kai Ridner, as the two were teammates in the Battle of the Regions tournament.
