The Prep Redzone Oklahoma team camp tour continued last week with a stop at Hilldale, continuing the second week of the tour. We got a good chance to see some of the better programs in eastern Oklahoma at this event. Checotah, Gore, Hilldale, Muldrow and Vian were represented. Six players stood out to us throughout the morning session on Thursday. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more team camp coverage!

[player_tooltip player_id='1684461' first='Brayson' last='Parker'] - 2026 Linebacker - Hilldale

Hilldale 2026 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1684461' first='Brayson' last='Parker'] was one of the first players that stood out to us on Thursday morning. Hilldale's coach David Blevins was hoping the Hornets would come out with some energy and Parker brought enough energy for the entire defense. The 2026 backer was incredibly vocal and looked to be the leader of the Hilldale defense. That energy continued during the play as he had a nose for the football and when he met a ball carrier in the hole or anywhere else on the field, he met that player with bad intentions. Parker plays the game with a ton of energy and for a Hilldale defense that has to replace some pieces at all three levels, having a player like Parker will certainly help this team move forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1322378' first='Cash' last='Trammel'] - 2026 Quarterback - Vian

When it comes to Vian, all eyes are going to be on the star running back and most people know that by now. But we walked away from the Hilldale team camp very impressed with the progression of 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1322378' first='Cash' last='Trammel'] at the quarterback position. Last season, Trammel was in his first season as QB1 of the Wolverines. And again, this was a very run-first offense. But on Thursday morning, we couldn't help but be impressed with the jump that Trammel has made as a passer. Vian could very well still be a run-heavy team with the weapons they have at running back. But Trammel is going to make defenses have to think about it. He showed multiple times throughout the morning that he can push the ball down the field with accuracy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1293008' first='Jayden' last='Ellen'] - 2026 Running Back - Checotah

Checotah is in a position where they are coming off a semifinal appearance but they have to replace the state's best player from last season. However, the Wildcats aren't helpless on the offensive side of the ball. 2026 running back [player_tooltip player_id='1293008' first='Jayden' last='Ellen'] was a very underrated part of what they did last season. And look, when you're on the same offense as the state's best player, that shadow could feel a little big. But Ellen has the potential to be one of the best running backs in Class 3A. We like the experience that Checotah brings back on the offensive line and Ellen had some big plays on Thursday morning. An underrated part of his game will be his ability to add to the passing game as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] - 2026 Running Back/Defensive Back - Vian

Vian 2026 running back [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] was one of the best players in the state last season and that's not up for debate. Offensively, he's one of the more dynamic players in the state because every time he touches the ball, he's a threat to score. Defensively, Wright is also a hard hitter that is comfortable playing in the secondary or coming down, closer to the line of scrimmage and helping in the run game. When it comes to his projection to the next level, Wright feels like either a running back or a linebacker. Either way, he's a next level guy. And that skill and talent was on full display Thursday morning. He's a punishing runner that is a nightmare to defend. And he brings that punishment to the defensive side of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1161908' first='Teaguen' last='Collins'] - 2026 Athlete - Muldrow

Muldrow 2026 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1161908' first='Teaguen' last='Collins'] took that next step as an overall playmaker last season and this fall, he could do it again. Watching Collins in person again on Thursday morning, it looks like he's been living in the weight room over the last six months. He looks bigger and has kept his speed that is so incredibly tough to defend. Collins was lining up at quarterback on offense and safety on defense. He's the ultimate swiss army knife and like Wright, Collins can line up just about anywhere on the football field and cause problems for an opposing defense. When we think back to the impact that Collins had in that camp setting, it's hard to lean one way or the other when it comes to offense or defense at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1683118' first='Ty' last='Gaither'] - 2027 Offensive Lineman - Hilldale

Hilldale 2027 offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1683118' first='Ty' last='Gaither'] was arguably the most impressive offensive lineman in attendance on Thursday morning. Gaither is a name that we weren't familiar with coming into the camp but it didn't take long to notice him on the line of scrimmage. First off, Gaither will pass the eye test in a hurry and then you watch him go to work. He looks like he'd be comfortable at either tackle position or moving inside to one of the guard spots, whatever is necessary for his team. Gaither had a couple plays that showcased a unique blend of athleticism and size that is going to make him an absolute nightmare for Class 4A defenders this season. He's going to have the size advantage against almost everyone he goes up against.
