The Prep Redzone Showcase tour makes a stop in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday afternoon with a large contingent of prospects set to be on hand, including a large group of offensive prospects that have a chance to develop themselves further while boosting their stock.

Here we provide a brief preview on what to expect this weekend and the guys who will be in attendance that you need to know about (It's a talented crop of offensive performers expected on Saturday with some prospects sporting D1 abilities).

Quarterbacks

- It will be a large group of signal callers at Father Ryan High School on Saturday with the underclassmen being heavily represented. One senior quarterback to mention first is Walker Valley gunslinger [player_tooltip player_id='540015' first='Chase' last='Stephens']. Moving over from Cleveland to play with the Mustangs for his senior season, Stephens shows good mechanics and accuracy on film that I'm hoping is on point this weekend.

Another senior to keep an eye on is under the radar 6'4 passer [player_tooltip player_id='1663452' first='Luke' last='Hamilton']. He is the backup to a current D1 committed prospect but Hamilton has the size that could entice college coaches. His size alone shows that potential could be met at tight end, especially if playing behind center doesn't work out.

Moving to the juniors and sophomores, we should have a talented crop to scout on Saturday with a few guys I'm very interested to watch in person for the first time. Potentially the top quarterback on hand could be Farragut junior [player_tooltip player_id='1292341' first='Corbin' last='Hobson']. The Admirals signal caller has the college size you like as well as a big arm that can make all the throws.

Knox. Central junior [player_tooltip player_id='1104268' first='Kaden' last='Long'] is an intriguing talent that has filled out his 6 '2 frame nicely this off-season, pushing himself closer to becoming a college level quarterback. Long could turn out to be one of the best dual threat guys we have coming out of the #TN2027 class.

Henry Co. quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='932897' first='Ayden' last='Spellings'], [player_tooltip player_id='1535803' first='Raoul' last='Jones'] from Mitchell and [player_tooltip player_id='1599488' first='Selah' last='Justice'] from Brentwood are three other junior signal callers I'm interested to watch. Spellings is a dual threat guy with a strong frame. Jones is a tall and raw quarterback that shows potential with added development and weight while Justice is a strong armed passer that is undersized but shows the talent to push the ball down field.

The sophomore quarterback class will be well represented this weekend. It looks like a talented crop that will be on hand with a few guys already looking like they could be destined for the college stage, however plenty of development is needed.

It's hard to pinpoint who the top guy to watch is but the names to know for Saturday includes [player_tooltip player_id='1036255' first='Price' last='Renovich'] (MUS), [player_tooltip player_id='1088646' first='Caleb' last='Sims'] (Gibson Co.), [player_tooltip player_id='1094224' first='Brooks' last='Wright'] (Memp. Central), [player_tooltip player_id='1580784' first='Deon' last='Barnes'] (Whites Creek), [player_tooltip player_id='1092711' first='Jake' last='Payne'] (USJ), [player_tooltip player_id='1178597' first='Garrett' last='King'] (Knox. Catholic), Max Warner (White Co.) and [player_tooltip player_id='1219525' first='Peyton' last='Wireman'] from Shelbyville Central.

I have already scouted a bunch of these guys on film while I've seen a few of them in person. Maybe two guys I'm interested in watching spin it and learn more about are King and Warner. These two sophomores could be two of the better dual threat guys we have in the #TN2028 class, so it will be their arm and throwing mechanics I'm mostly interested in paying attention to.

- - - - -

Running Backs

- Our running back position for the Spring Showcase should be a group to closely watch on Saturday as it's a deep crop with multiple guys sporting college upside. It's a nice collection of veterans and youthful talent that will be on hand with one guy in [player_tooltip player_id='834613' first='Robert' last='Bailey'] attending that is ranked inside our #TN2026 Top 150.

Bailey is a power runner with good speed in the open field that should be contending for MVP honors at this combine, especially if he displays quick body movements and the ability to catch out of the backfield. Another senior back with those kinds of skills to pay attention to on Saturday is Cornersville ball carrier [player_tooltip player_id='1133241' first='Hunter' last='Uland']. The Bulldogs running back is an alum of our Showcase that still sits under the radar but the guy is talented with some of the best work ethic in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='244591' first='Eli' last='Bell'] from Forrest and Jason Sterlinski out of Westmoreland are two small town running backs that could be two hidden gems coming out of the Mid-Tennessee region. Bell is a tremendous athlete that sports breakaway speed while Sterlinkski is a balanced ball carrier that has a nice combo of power and speed.

Coming off earning his first offer from Miami Ohio, [player_tooltip player_id='1567420' first='Damillyan' last='Porter'] from Oak Ridge will be looking to continue pushing his stock forward with a strong performance at the #PRZTN Spring Showcase this weekend. The Wildcats junior is a punishing ball carrier that could take his stock to another level by running fast with forty.

Green Hill running back Zach Cartwright and [player_tooltip player_id='1635443' first='Nate' last='Zimmerman'] from Shelbyville Central are two junior ball carriers to keep eyes on this Saturday and two guys that could be in the mix for camp MVP honors, especially if they perform well. Cartwright is undersized but a tough runner that shows open field speed while Zimmerman is a two-way talent that brings size, grit and toughness to the offensive side of the ball.

Rising sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='1030608' first='Jack' last='Ferguson'] is a mainstay at our showcases where back in the winter, the Red Raiders dynamite ball carrier earned camp MVP for his position. This is an athletic, quick burst runner that provides big play abilities from the backfield.

Three other sophomore backs set to attend and know about include [player_tooltip player_id='1589943' first='Quincy' last='Mitchell'] (Forrest), [player_tooltip player_id='1133753' first='DeSean' last='Burnette'] (Lausanne) and [player_tooltip player_id='1088019' first='Ty' last='Hollingsworth'] from Milan. All three backs are elusive, speedy guys that could help their scouting stocks in a major way with strong camp performances.

- - - - -

Receivers/Tight Ends

- Looking into the guys who catch the ball out wide, it appears a solid group of receivers that we plan to have in Nashville on Saturday with multiple guys sitting in a good position to push their stocks forward with strong camp performances. It's a talented crop as well and one position group that I'm excited to learn more about this weekend.

Out of all the senior pass catchers that we will have at Father Ryan, the three guys I'm interested in learning more about and watching are [player_tooltip player_id='540040' first='Oliver' last='Bender'] from Nolensville, [player_tooltip player_id='1300468' first='Jontae' last='Alexander'] out of Southwind and St. Georges receiver/tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1622011' first='Noah' last='Rolfe'].

Bender is someone I know pretty well from his past performances at our camps but I haven't seen him in person in a while, so it will be interesting to see where he's at with his game and progression moving forward.

Coming up from Memphis to compete, Alexander is a tall and lanky wideout that shows strong potential for the next level. If he runs well, look for his stock to rise. Rolfe is one of the more interesting cases at camp on Saturday. The Gryphons senior stands 6 '7 with long arms and a great frame that can pack on more weight. I personally like him best in college at tight end but how he runs this weekend will dictate a lot on if he can stay out wide at receiver.

Adding a new offer this week from Florida Atlantic, Sequatchie Co. junior tight end [player_tooltip player_id='454466' first='Jack' last='Evitts'] is one of the top prospects competing this weekend that has talent for offense but could easily excel at defensive end as well. How he runs and does throughout his agility drills will show a lot on where he's at within his progression.

[player_tooltip player_id='1629937' first='Kaden' last='Webber'] from GCA, [player_tooltip player_id='1663276' first='George' last='Mabury'] out of Independence, Anderson Co. wideout [player_tooltip player_id='1586188' first='Brayden' last='Sharpe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1646491' first='Branson' last='Newberry'] out of Science Hill are four junior receivers that are very talented with each bringing different skill sets to the playing field. Webber is a sure handed, slot guy that could work his way into playing outside with increased speed.

Mabury brings great size to the field (6'4 175 lbs) and the potential to excel at the “X” or “Y” position in college. Sharpe is a quick footed receiver that fits well in the slot but needs more weight to turn into his best self. Newberry is a two-way talent, who I have pinpointed for safety, so it will be interesting to see how he performs at receiver this weekend.

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1588776' first='Hudson' last='Smith'] from Nash. Christian is a rising star that performed very well at our Winter Showcase in December and he's coming back to continue boosting his stock. This guy is well put together physically but is also a tremendous athlete that runs very well. I don't know how much play he will get this Fall with veterans ahead of him but Smith certainly has a bright future with the Eagles.

- - - - -

Offensive Line

- Some of the best star power at camp on Saturday comes from this O-line group. The top guy to know about attending this weekend is the 32nd overall ranked prospect in Page senior [player_tooltip player_id='402552' first='Jordan' last='Curll']. This 6'4 offensive tackle could possibly be the best athlete on the O-line within the entire state. He holds several offers at the moment but could land several more by running well at our Spring Showcase.

Columbia Academy big man [player_tooltip player_id='1136472' first='Daniel' last='Cepicky'] and Covington guard/center [player_tooltip player_id='1621943' first='Jackson' last='Kirby'] are two top 30 O-line prospects headed to town looking to boost their stocks and turn some heads with their performances. Cepicky is a brawler that enjoys the physical aspect of the game while Kirby is a technician that shows good balance and lower body agility.

Two other seniors to know about that are looking for strong camp showings are [player_tooltip player_id='1662846' first='Ryan' last='Toombs'] from McKenzie and Alcoa senior [player_tooltip player_id='344895' first='Colton' last='Moore']. Both these guys are interior blockers that show the athleticism to potentially handle both center or guard on the college level.

While plenty of eyes will be on the seniors above, the crop of juniors headed for Father Ryan this weekend looks strong with multiple highly talented guys ready to move some people. Possibly the top name among our juniors is CPA big man [player_tooltip player_id='1158911' first='Isaiah' last='Bryant'].

The Lions offensive lineman currently sits as one of the top prospects from his position for the #TN2027 recruiting class. Bryant has great size (6'5 280) with the good length and the athletic profile to play tackle on the next level. He is a mauler too that could move inside and excel at offensive guard if needed.

Staying at the tackle position, two guys I have my eye on this weekend are [player_tooltip player_id='1662928' first='Blake' last='Leigh'] (6'5 265) from Shelbyville and [player_tooltip player_id='866736' first='Max' last='Paschall'] out of South Gibson. Leigh is an athletic guy with a long, lean frame that speaks towards his potential to block on the outside in college. Paschall is a massive young man (6'7 320) that handles tackle for his Hornets O-line but might end up fitting best inside at guard.

The rest of the O-line group that is destined for Nashville this weekend are all interior O-linemen with a few of them sporting the versatility to work at center. Among the names that have my attention going into camp includes [player_tooltip player_id='1634767' first='London' last='Parks'] (Beech), [player_tooltip player_id='1602208' first='Colt' last='Patterson'] (Hendersonville), [player_tooltip player_id='1635143' first='Chandler' last='Cates'] (Shelbyville), [player_tooltip player_id='905242' first='Caleb' last='Coffman'] (Page), [player_tooltip player_id='1598500' first='Weston' last='Davis'] (Heritage) and [player_tooltip player_id='1664157' first='Colston' last='Anderson'] from Mt. Pleasant.

Parks may turn out to be the best of the group above. Standing 6 '3 270 plus pounds with long arms and an athletic skill set, the Bucs junior O-lineman has a shot to get onto the D1 radar with a strong junior season. Patterson is a mauling technician in the middle that does good work at moving his man off their spot and getting to the second level.

Cates is another mauler in the middle that brings nice power and strength to the playing field along with the possibility of handling left guard due to his athleticism. Coffman has a shot to step into a big role for his Patriots O-line this season and become one of their starting interior O-linemen. Davis could be his team's top big man up front due to his wide bodied frame and physical playing style. Anderson is someone new to my radar that I will be interested to see perform this weekend.

- - - - -

Athletes

- This section is not about position but more so about the guys who show the potential to excel in college at multiple roles from both sides of the ball. We have a talented crop headed to Nashville this weekend that is headlined by the key word of “variety”.

Several guys listed below could develop at running back, receiver, linebacker or defensive back, so watching them perform at our Showcase will go a long way on where their final placement will be.

Looking at our seniors, it's a collection of guys that sit under the radar but have abilities that can blossom into college level players. Maybe the top guy to watch for is Knox. Halls senior [player_tooltip player_id='1326260' first='Brody' last='Rogers']. This East TN product is coming off a highly productive junior year that saw him excel at receiver but standing 6 '1 210 pounds, Rogers also has the build of a potential linebacker or “star” safety in college.

Carter two-way talent [player_tooltip player_id='1467544' first='Jody' last='Scruggs'] is another East TN prospect that saw a lot of work at running back last year and that may be where he lands in college but he is also a natural athlete that could develop nicely at defensive back.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188476' first='Torrens' last='Malone'] from Kirkwood and Clarksville senior [player_tooltip player_id='1664053' first='Bryson' last='Ellington'] are two guys from the same neck of the woods that are looking to put in strong camp performances this weekend to boost their overall stocks. Malone has size for either receiver or safety in college while Ellington has upside as either a running back or linebacker on defense.

Three natural athletes that could find a role in college at receiver or defensive back are [player_tooltip player_id='783176' first='Kari' last='Dixon'] from Blackman, [player_tooltip player_id='1664298' first='Darrick' last='Franklin II'] and [player_tooltip player_id='567225' first='Luke' last='Finch'] out of Sequatchie County. Dixon is a quick footed guy, who plays with good technique along with playmaking abilities. Franklin is undersized but highly athletic. It will be interesting to see how he performs Saturday. Finch is transitioning from quarterback to receiver or safety and I think the move will be beneficial as this Chattanooga area prospect has good size and can run.

Where we may have the most college potential among the athletes is with the junior and sophomore classes. It's a talented group headed to Nashville on Saturday with some names destined for the college level.

Two junior athletes that already have my attention and two I have yet to scout in person are [player_tooltip player_id='1616602' first='Jacob' last='Jewell'] from Ravenwood and Franklin Road Academy two-way talent Amari Mitchell. Both these dudes have college size and traits with untapped potential while both show upside to excel at defensive back.

Brentwood junior [player_tooltip player_id='1595026' first='Parker' last='Emerson'] has put forth a strong off-season thus far and showed the athleticism needed to standout at either receiver or safety. Pope Prep two-way talent [player_tooltip player_id='1529629' first='DeVaughn' last='Cantrell'] has the size (6'4 190) that would entice college coaches but I'm not sure where his abilities fit the best. Watching him at camp tomorrow will be important for me and seeing how good he is and can be. Beech junior Devin Crutcher is a new name to me but someone that has my attention.

Looking into the sophomore athletes, we have three guys that immediately stick out to me in [player_tooltip player_id='1586170' first='Gabriel' last='Cabell'] from CPA, [player_tooltip player_id='1570535' first='Zayden' last='Williams'] out of Oak Ridge and [player_tooltip player_id='1657328' first='Kyle' last='Pearman'] from Franklin that scream college upside.

Cabell already has the look of a college guy (6'3 210) while sporting the versatility to grow into receiver, edge or linebacker over time. Williams is a tremendous athlete that too has the size (6'2 180) where he could excel catching balls on offense or ball hawking in the secondary. Pearman jumped on the scene recently but is a name to follow over the next few years. He brings college size to the field (6'3 190) along with a skill set that could be developed nicely on either side of the ball.
