Each season brings newcomers to the field. Whether they're taking over the game, or taking meaningful snaps, the newcomers are on the rise. In today's article I will be discussing some of the young bucks who are primed to take over for next season.

Son of former Broncos and founder of Six Zero Academy, Matt McChesney, and it shows. He has very good strength, and locks up his opponents. McChesney has a good knee bend and very good flexibility. Very good foot quickness. Very good balance to stay upright. He starts with a low pad level, and uses very good hand placement and hand strength to control the DL. McChesney shows off in both pass protection and run blocking. He has a very good anchor. Uses his powerful legs and very good balance to not get knocked around. In the run game, he uses his athletic ability to go out in space, or dominate during pull blocks. He recently attended the UA camp, and made the top 5 while being one of the youngest in attendance. McChesney is a rising star, and will be a stable for the Mountain Vista O-line for years to come.

Having played for Mile High Prep this past spring, Rueschhoff balled out during the spring season. With 3 TFL, 1.5 sacks, 1 FR, and 1 Pick 6! Last high school season, he had 72 total tackles (49 solo, 23 assisted), 5 TFL, 1 sack, 3 QB pressures and 1 FR. Cole has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, balance, lateral agility, and good jumping. Very good range from sideline to sideline or deep in his zone coverage. He uses his athletic ability to cover TEs out in space. His mental processing is consistently on display. Very good reactionary speed. Reads, diagnoses, and attacks. Rueschhoff puts himself in position to succeed. Very good block shedder, with very good quickness off the block and ability to disengage. Paired with his very good strength, and he's a force on the field. I firmly believe after more people see his play, he will be getting D1 offers.

Cromwell was a bowling ball for Cherry Creek throughout the season. He has very good athletic ability due to elite speed, very good acceleration, change of direction, balance, and jumping. In the championship game, he hurdled over the defense into the endzone. When the ball's in his hands, he is a home run threat. Cromwell uses his very good vision to weave through the defense. He also isn't afraid of contact and uses his very good trucking to run through defenders. It takes multiple defenders to take him down after contact. He's a speedy bowling ball. He makes defenders miss with his juke moves, and can pivot on a dime with his dynamic cuts. Elijah can also punish the defense with his good catching out of the backfield. This kid is legit, and will be running the rock for Creek for years to come.

Blakey measures in at 6'0 180 pounds. In 7 games started, he threw for 1613 yards, 18 TDs, 9 INTs with a 46.9% completion rate. Blakey has good speed and acceleration to roll out of the pocket as it collapses. He demonstrates a good release on his throws paired with good throw power. I noticed he throws with a good touch. On his deep ball, it allows the WR to run underneath. When Blakey is faced with pressure, he keeps his eyes downfield to connect with his man. I believe with some more consistency on his accuracy; he'll be a weapon for Eagle Valley.

Miller is a rising receiver out of the 2027 class. Last season, he had 27 receptions for 359 yards and 6 touchdowns. Miller demonstrates very good athleticism due to his very good jumping, acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. Good release at the line of scrimmage against press jam and off coverage. Good separation quickness due to play strength, mental processing, and athletic ability. Uses his physicality to gain the upper hand or will sit in a zone void, waiting patiently for the ball. Very good ball tracking skills and catching. Miller is a very good at contested catches. He uses his body to jump up and strong hands to pluck the ball out of the air. Very good body control to make contorted catches, and hold onto the ball as he hits the ground. Good yards after the catch due to him juking out defenders and out running them. Shows willingness to get his hands dirty with blocking. I'm very excited to see how he continues to produce going forward.
