Vialpando is monster two-way player for Columbine. Measures in at 6'1 170-pounds. The RB/LB/S had 64 carries for 390 yards with 5 touchdowns, 3 receptions for 60 yards and 1 touchdown, 75 total tackles (58 solo, 17 assisted), 1 TFL, 1 sack, and 3 PD. Vialpando has very good athletic ability due to very good balance, speed, change of direction, acceleration, lateral agility, and good jumping. Offensively, he has very good vision and in turn very good inside running. Picks, slides, and accelerates into the open hole. Smooth cuts. Good outside running. Vialpando consistently gains yards after contact. He'll spin and stay on his feet avoiding tackles or uses his very good stiff arm or trucking to gain yardage as well. It takes multiple defenders to take him down. Defensively, he has very good read and reaction time. Smooth back pedal in coverage with good block shedding. Vialpando has very good tackling and range. He's very physical and a hard hitter. I thoroughly enjoyed watching his film, and this kid will be a stud at the next level.

McKenzie was stellar in his first year playing safety. Last year, he was previously a wide receiver and translated his skills to the defensive side. Measures in at 6'0 180-pounds, he had 107 total tackles (40 solo, 67 assisted), 2 TFL, 2 sacks, 2 INT, 1 FF, 1 FR for a TD. He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. Very good read and reaction speed. He puts himself in position to make a play. When he's out in his zone, and sees it's run, he'll come down and make that first contact against the running back. Aggressive and strong tackler. McKenzie does a great job in coverage as well. Very good man coverage and zone coverage. Sticky in man coverage, staying stride for stride with the WR. He uses his very good closing quickness to create pass break ups too. Sometimes he will be in the box to blitz and does a great job at it. He uses his explosive take off speed and good strength to blaze past the OL and get in the backfield. With another off-season under his belt at safety, I believe McKenzie will reach another level with his game.

Hinojosa measures in at 5'10 165-pounds playing safety for Mesa Ridge. This past season, he had 90 total tackles (55 solo, 35 assisted), 10 TFL, 1 QB pressure, 1 INT, 3 PD, 2 FF, and 1 FR returned for a touchdown. Hinojosa has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, good jumping, and change of direction. He ranges from a deep safety, the box, and even the line of scrimmage. Good read and reaction time. Good back pedal. When he locks onto a target, he's like a heat seeking missile. Hinojosa doesn't stop till the ball carrier in his grasp. Very good tackling and is hard hitter. He'll crowd the line of scrimmage and blitz. Very good blitz take off speed paired with good block shedding. Hinojosa does a good job in both man and zone as well. Look for him to take another step in his development!

Romo measures in at 6'1 175-pounds playing CB / FS with occasional WR snaps for Glenwood Springs. He had 39 total tackles (25 solo, 14 assisted), 1 TFL, 1 INT, 1 PD, 1 FR, and 11 receptions for 92 yards with 3 touchdowns. Very good athletic ability due to elite jumping, very good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. Very good job at press jamming the wide receiver at the LOS and re-routing them. Smooth back pedal with fluid hips to match them breaking into the route. Very good man coverage and zone. He's sticky like glue, not allowing the wide receiver any room to maneuver. Very good timing on pass break ups. Good concentration on tipped passes to get the interception. Romo is a very good tackler. He'll run across the field to make a play. I love how he plays, and colleges need to look at his film. He can help elevate a roster.

Mangrum had a phenomenal season. This running back out of Sand Creek measures in at 5'10 185-pounds. He had 174 carries for 2001 yards, averaging 11.5 yards per carry for 30 touchdowns, and 11 receptions for 117 yards with 2 touchdowns. Mangrum has very good athletic ability due to elite change of direction, very good speed, acceleration, and balance. He has elite vision. Very good inside and outside running. If a hole is covered, he'll use his controlled jump cuts to pivot and find an open route. Mangrum is an elusive bruiser, mixing speed and power. He runs through defenders effortlessly, or glides through the field like an ice skater. He's smooth on his feet, consistently making defenders miss. Defenses also must be aware of his receiving ability. But wait, Mangrum also has very good pass protection. He gets low and uses his very good strength to block extra defenders. He allows his QB to get extra time in the pocket and find the open man downfield. I love this kid's film, and I'm surprised colleges haven't found him yet. They will in due time.
