About Lijah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m fast so I can cover a lot of ground quickly, whether I'm on offense or defense. My great field vision helps me see plays develop before they happen, so I can make smart decisions in the moment. And im a tackling machine I'm always ready to stop the opponent and make those crucial tackles. It really helps my team out

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is no one is gonna get pass me and I’m not gonna lose a game and I’m the best linebacker there is

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m play basketball and I also play 7on7 football for the ducks

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe I'm a good defensive leader in football because I communicate effectively with my teammates, always keeping everyone focused and organized on the field. I lead by example, showing strong work ethic and commitment during practices and games.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Challenges I faced was being the youngest one on the field and not being the biggest so I had to overcome that and thrive

What type of college are you looking for?

Any College that would have faith in me to be a part of a great organization .

Vialpando plays RB/LB for Columbine. Measures in at 6’1 170-pounds. Last season, he had 75 total tackles (58 solo, 17 assisted), 1 TFL, 1 sack, 3 PD. Offensively, he had 64 carries for 390 yards with 5 touchdowns, 3 receptions for 60 yards and 1 touchdown. Vialpando has very good athletic ability due to very good balance, speed, acceleration, lateral quickness, and jumping. Very good read and reaction time. He’s an instinctive linebacker watching the QB’s eyes to the ball carrier. Good block shedding and get off speed. Very good tackling with very good strength and range. Smooth back pedal and fluid hips breaking out into coverage. Vialpando thrives with physicality and hitting the ball carrier hard. He’s an exciting player to know.
