We got to see 2026 University QB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1324951' first='Jack' last='Byrer'] earlier this month at the Winter Showcase and were impressed again by his performance at the Fairmont State Elite Camp. He's a physically impressive athlete who immediately catches your eye when you see him in person. I think he does have some upside as a quarterback at the next level if a program is patient in developing him, but he also has a bright future as a TE/H-Back or linebacker on defense. Byrer does possess arm talent as one of the better passers among the small quarterback group today, which may intrigue some D2 programs.

Overall, I thought 2026 Westland (OH) QB [player_tooltip player_id='1402599' first='Jayrece' last='Dixon'] threw the prettiest ball among the six quarterbacks in attendance at the Fairmont State Elite Camp. He flashed a quick release with fundamentally sound throwing mechanics that had him placing the ball accurately and on time. Dixon also has impressive arm strength, which he displayed on velocity throws over the middle and to the sideline with deep ball capability as well. His X account doesn't show an offer yet, but D2 schools in the region should take notice of Dixon's ability.

2026 Morgan (OH) QB Haiden Pauley was right in the mix for Top 3 quarterback today at the Fairmont State Elite Camp. He'll benefit from added mass to his frame at the college level, but is physically developed for his current size. Pauley throws a nice, tight spiral with good form in his throwing mechanics. He has the ability to rip it with velocity when he needs to or take some heat off his passes for a soft touch ball. Pauley throws a nice rainbow arc on his deep balls to let his receiver run under, with the arm strength to drive his passes down the field. Pauley is another unoffered 2026 QB according to his X account, that I believe has D2 upside.

2026 Buckhannon-Upshur QB [player_tooltip player_id='618773' first='Dawson' last='Tenney'] impressed at the St. Albans GC Exposure Camp two weeks ago and did some good things again today at Fairmont State's Elite Camp. He ran the fastest among the six quarterbacks in attendance with a 4.72 40, which was the 7th-best time in the camp, regardless of position. Tenney has real upside as an ATH prospect with the athleticism to play receiver or defensive back at the D2 level in my eyes. As a quarterback, though, Tenney was accurate over the middle, with good timing and ball placement that allowed his receivers to make easy catches in stride.

I liked the way that 2026 Cornell (PA) QB Mark Stuckey threw the ball during 1-on-1s at the Fairmont State Elite Camp today. He's a smaller quarterback, but he showed fundamental throwing mechanics in his delivery. I thought Stuckey's best attribute during the camp was throwing accurately to the sideline and hitting his receiver's outside shoulder. He consistently put the ball where it needed to be for his man to secure an easy catch, often not allowing the defensive back to make a play on it.

This was back-to-back weeks getting to see 2026 Hampshire QB [player_tooltip player_id='1227642' first='Landon' last='Eversole'] throw in person as he once again put together a quality day at the Fairmont State Elite Camp. Eversole has an unconventional delivery on his passes, but he owns his style and makes it work. He does a nice job on passes inside of 15 yards and more often than not puts the ball where it needs to be. Mechanically, if he can iron out his throwing motion and trajectory with a more over-the-head path, it would improve his deep ball ability and consistency. Eversole also has ATH potential athletically if he cross-trained positionally, which would give him more options and versatility for the next level.
