Frye's development has been clear. He came into high school loaded with potential and set to start sooner rather than later. That's been exactly the case, and he continues to get better. His frame is being filled out, and as he gets those reps, the little things improve. He's accurate, doesn't make poor decisions, throws a beautiful ball, and checks box after box. He left as the 2027 MVP and for good reason. He's as steady and consistent as they come and should be on radars across the country.

Davis's length is rare, and it helps him more than he may realize. Not only does he see the entire field, but his over-the-top release makes it almost impossible to get balls batted down. It helps him get the right trajectory over the top of the linebackers and right in front of the safety help. There are times he'll pat the ball, but when he trusts himself and what he sees, he's rarely wrong and makes the throw 9/10 times. I like Davis and always have. He's quiet when he's out there and isn't ever trying to do too much.

Clayton is a good athlete who has a good feel for the game and does a bunch of things well. He's a dual-threat QB who not only reads the RPO game well, but can make the quick throws. While his throwing motion may be a bit slower than some, his ball placement more than makes up for it. He throws with touch and has no issue rainbowing balls into his receiver's hands downfield. His tape from last year shows the same traits in live reps, so I like where he's at.

Dold wrapped up his first year starting and is spending the offseason making those minor adjustments. He's a sound pocket passer who won't kill the defense with his legs, but will get through his reads and find the open man. He'll stand in there and make a throw knowing he'll take a shot. His camp throws were money, and he didn't lose focus. One thing I'm always watching is the guys who take the small drills seriously and stretch like they care, and Dold does. To me, the little things do a long way, and I feel like Dold cares the way he should.

Hill is an interesting prospect who had a better camp than maybe he realized. He can make some off-platform throws and drop the arm angle, but doesn't do it to be flashy. He's quick and isn't easy to run down from behind. During the cadence segment, he wasn't afraid to aggressively bark. Having a good cadence is a lost art of football and I liked seeing him put effort into it and understand its value. I think Hill has a chance to quietly make a big impact for Merrillville because he seems to be wired the right way.
